What a truly horrific share to be heavily invested in at least SP-wise. Gonna be a couple of years until it 'ten bags' from here (which is what i'll need it to do) - all most of us can do now is sit and wait and hope, while pondering whether to average down... yet again.

They have the stuff in the ground, they have the mine. They just need someone to fancy the JORC results enough to come in and fund the water pipeline via either a JV or exclusive offtake agreement. But whatever happens, 0.6 is rubbish - they previously did a raise at 6p and everyone was p'ed off about that at the time!

Decent results. Progress being made in core business and across the core projects. Cashed up for the time being. Still jam tomorrow but it's a lot of jam, and cheap as chips at the moment.

Fair comment on TP and fund raising, I'm usually cynical about such presentations 'banging the drum' as they can indeed sometimes lead to placings, but I'm sure most PIs here are already aware of this. Avacta were on the same evening and are cashed up for a year, so it's not always about raising funds rather than awareness.

I still liked the comment about organic growth, and the BoD do have skin in the game.

If it is all a ploy and they do need a placing when results are announced, your sitting by the FLX chat screen all day every day just waiting in case you need to counter any positivity will deserve a medal! Hope you're wrong obviously, but neither of us know any more than what's already out there for all to see.

I for one am holding for results. That might prove naive. Less than a month to wait either way.

Cashed up for a year from now, they are expecting more significant deals to be signed - probably again with Asian companies like LG - within that period.

Also they should have in-human data in H1 2020, which if good will be a huge inflection point. Of course it is an 'if', but I still believe the SP to be very low now after drifting on no news for a while. It's a solid buy at this price IMO, but DYOR obviously as I've been wrong before.

The CFO states that the last raise should be enough to enable organic growth from now on so they are not expecting to place again anytime in the near future. They are also in a closed period so can't announce any news before results due at the end of Aug. And the directors have been continually buying because they feel the SP is inexplicably low.

FK1 I admire your dedication to warning PIs of the risks here on a daily basis even when you are not a holder. Where were you when I needed u in KENV 2.5 yrs ago and Motif 6mths ago you could've saved me a fortune! :-P Not sure about your speculative ideas here but we'll know more in a month either way.

Always risk with pre-profit nanocaps but the rewards can be huge - especially from this near ATL price. My advice is to watch the presentation and make your own minds up.

FYI guys, when I saw the tate and lyle effort I was concerned so emailed the company. I received a reply almost immediately from the man himself which I assume he won't mind me sharing here:

I hope you are doing great. Thank you for reaching out. I totally understand your concern.

It was my concern also when I joined the company. But we learned a few things that changed that concern into optimism.

Soda-Lo had issues to scale production and to be used in manufacturing facilities. Due to the particle size and low weight, it was very difficult to achieve the right application level into snacks and other products (basically the salt will evaporate and make a cloud of salt in the production line). We, on the other hand, use a higher level of Maltodextrin as an agent to give weight to the particles so we can apply the salt correctly.

Also, our salt particles are smaller which gives you more saltiness.

If they decide to increase the agent (like Maltodextrin or Arabic Gum) to increase particle weight they will immediately infringe our patent. So we are protected.

Firstly, very happy that he got back to me so fast. Most AIM co's comms are awful as they generally remain aloof to PI concerns. Secondly, it appears that if anything, tatee and lyle will be helping get the word out about the benefits of low sodium salt, which can only help Salarius as the superior product on the market.

This smacks of a forward sold placing. 1p. To finish the JORC etc and attract someone to pay for the water pipeline as a JV / offtake. Potential bargain for anyone not in already, but yet another kick in the guts for all us LTH. Between this and Motif my pf has been brutally punished. Both companies paying for overconfidence. But not giving up hope yet - in fact I just averaged down a wee bit, for what it's worth. I can wait a couple of years if that's what it takes, especially as this paper loss is simply too great to realise at this price. Of course I also thought that at 6p - loss aversion huh.

Anything under 20p is a buy IMO. Commercial deals in the offing, safety and efficacy already proven with multiple applications being looked at. Very well run and evolving company, fully funded. I usually never average up but I did today.

Of course it might just be a classic MM spike pre placing to suck punters in. Would be deeply disappointing though given the company's enthusiasm since the solarwinds deal. Funny how the rise has some peeps predicting a takeover. Let's just get some revenues in first please.

This sudden rise after a long slide must have sthg to do with last night's presentation at the Turner Pope investor evening. A cynical view is that companies do such events to ramp things up for a raise, but that's not always the case and they certainly must have impressed judging by today's trades.

I was looking for any info on it this morning when the price was more or less even. Perhaps attendees are keeping schtum until they've bought what they want. Usually takes around a week for TP to upload their videos??

Anyway, GLA, my last top up was at 2.1, had the finger over the buy button at 1.65 but didn't pull the trigger due to news vacuum. Such is life. If things are happening as the chief has projected in recent interviews (there's been director buying in that time too), then we might see a TERN style rerate but more sustainable hopefully thanks to actual revenues.

Just topped up, paid below the mid price and it's showing as a sell. This being played down, but the next time this pushes towards 50p I believe it will stay higher given the scale of the deals currently being negotiated. Am happy to hold here. GL.

How many AIM mining co's have absolutely everything in place to start mining in the near term? Already a huge resource but really reads like it's just the tip of the iceberg. They're sitting on a goldmine (full of tantalum ;-).

Agreed. This is my 'big hope' after the MTFB disaster. Really genuine huge potential here and things are finally coming together. The next couple of years will be telling. I can wait, as I don't intend to part with any of my TEK holding until at least one major project is divested / goes mainstream - from the current tiny mcap, for just one to come through would be massive and all four are going well at the moment - monetisation will occur I believe.

Wow. They've made the same mistake as the old bod of another company I hold, but thankfully in that instance a new bod came in and managed to renegotiate terms - let's hope VAL can do the same eh! Only a small holding but feel bad for anyone who is sitting on a big loss here. The science is better than the management - as has been the case with many an AIM pharma.

Yes 86DA and I think another reason small co's get CRLs might be the massive influence 'big pharma' have in the US, compared to random minnows who are threatening their profits. Is it really too far fetched to suspect that the USA would have a govt dept influenced by very powerful lobbyists? Perish the thought!

However I still blame the extent of the SP crash on the Motif BoD who were incredibly complacent to have no cash in the bank in the event of receiving a not improbable CRL.

If they had planned for such an outcome, the CRL might even have been seen as further derisking things overall. Often a CRL just asks for extra data, which if the company can provide means they should ultimately have a better chance than ever of getting approval.
