P777 - its NOT the value of Sea Lion that's the real problem - it's the reduced cash flow from Shenandoah that will be worrying them and that affects things in 2025.

Ovets - check the webcast that was highlighted on here - they don't have funding in place - they've made no announcement. I'm sure they're talking to people and setting things up financially but until they have the deal done its not done. Any stock exchange rules anywhere would require an announcement .

I'm not saying they won't or can't do it - all I'm saying is that it must slip for the simple reason that any cash flow forecast for the company made up to 2 weeks ago is now totally wrong. Just the same as every other company in the world. Trump has kicked the apple cart over and everyone is scurrying to regroup.

Of course not - but the cash flow will not be as high as they were planning even a couple of weeks back, For example the last NSAI report on Sea Lion used $POL of $ 69-$75 a bbl for the next 3 years........... Brent is at $ 59 as we write

Maybe not the decision but they won't start spending cash they don't have. The fall in the OP must reduce their forecast income from Shenandoah - that will push SL out until they CAN afford iit

Look at Alpenblicks analysis - they need to raise a shed load of cash to do Sea Lion - I'm sure they'll do it - but not in this market and no at these prices

Problem is how will Navitas raise the capital they need for Sea Lion if oil prices are low and the markets are in turmoil.

At low prices their cash flow from the USA will be lower than forecast even a month ago.

Further drift to the right until the situation clears up - maybe a 12 month delay?

Agreed this is going to move very fast and very far upward from this oversold position back to asset value on news of this weeks events and next..... double up swing now and people positioning themselves for it began on Thursday and Friday last week.

Expect it to continue strongly through this week.

Of course in the medium term he's going to completely screw up the shale gas operators in the USA - they need high prices, and they have to keep drilling. Low prices and they'll switch off new drilling rapidly. You'll see the effects in 5-6 months.
