We know NAV are careful and think things through and have a plan. They will NOT kick off Phase 2 until they can prove that the reservoir will produce and see what the rates are. They will also want the confirmation that the development drilling proves the field geological and reservoir model correct. Everyone in the business remembers Hess's disaster at Durward & Dauntless in the N Sea where the models were incorrect - they drilled something like 4 very succesful exploration wells and then the first 4 development wells were effective dusters (and there was an ocean of blood in the management & technical groups).

Current events in the Mid East will be ancient hoistory in commercial terms when Sea Lion Phase 1 comes on stream. RKH is an investment for the medium to long term - short of a takeover you're not going to see any dramatic change in the plan .

However I'd expect Navitas to look at how they could accelerate, or better enlarge, Phase 2 development when SL is a proven producer

Broker seems to think farmout incoming now, i personally think buy out but we will see. Good opportunity to top up here (yet again), will be nice to see this stock grow a pair- volume has been ridiculously low of late.

So obvious that no-one (but no-one) is interested. Just go look at the weather conditions down there for a start. Its going to be one of the last places on earth that will be developed. The blocks are worth nothing. The potential in the NFB is real ,and proven.

1. This week hopefully an update on the refinancing terms. Accompanied with a forward plan for SF workovers.

2. Most likely this week an update on the transformational asset purchase.

3. Potential guidance on drilling of new wells.

4. Confirmation of the hedges ending and new commercials.

5. Latest Monday, interims which will give a clear picture.

6. Board update and outlook.

Ever the optomist eh?

thats a bit strange - the agreements as published aren't complex at all in exploration & development . Probably Navitas would want to get something extra from any buyer tho'. As long as the buyer is financially sound and politically accepteable (Eg NOT Argentinean) then FIG wouldn't have any issues

This is a very long running issue

No system publishes accurate Buy/Sell information. This site rates it as a sell (red) if your TRADE Price is lower than the mid price in the published range - if your TRADE price is above the mid point of the quoted range it's rated as a BUY (Blue)

It's really useless - why they persist with it is beyond everyone................ and before you ask there is no way you can actually tell the difference - you'd need access to the order books of every trader all the time and that isn't possible for anyone - not even the Stock Exchange
