If I were asked to make an optimistic guess as to when MET1's first mine might start producing and MET might start making a profit, I'd say anything between 8 and 15 years. Maybe earlier, if they have a mine in an advanced state of development.

People on here have a variety of opinion about MET1 and the motives of the directors, from ultra positive to downright negative.

Does anyone on here believe that any of their opinions has any effect on the share price?

I once saw an interview like this about another company, Sosandar (SOS). It was also supposed to do great things and make loads of money for lots of people, just like MET! is supposed to be going to do now. In their interview the directors of SOS were very vague and as nervous as hell, just like Dan Maling and Craig Moulton now, as if they didn't believe what they were saying. After that interview it quickly became apparent why the directors of SOS had been vague and nervous. It was because because they were lying through their teeth and the company was struggling.

Watching Dan Maling and Craig Moulton's interviews took me straight back to watching the SOS interview. The sheer desperation in the faces and voices of Dan and Craig were the same. It made me wonder if I've lost all the money I've put into MET1's shares.

I can't see any way that MET1 will recover. They have too many 2p warrants issued to buy too many dud mineral prospects. Where will the cash come from to turn them into money making investments?

I've got it! Issue zillions more 2p warrants. That'll do the trick.

I believe that, in the absence of positive news, this could drop to 2p or even lower.

When I bought my first tranche of shares I thought they were a mining company. But now I'm not sure what they are. They've acquired all those mineral rights but don't seem to be doing anything with them. They don't have an income but they have cash and the valuable mineral rights they have acquired that must worth a lot and they seem to have very little debt. Do they intend exploring and developing their mineral rights or do they have another plan?

It would be great for my plans if it reached 20p by the end of September but I may have to look further ahead and see what the sp is in September next year. 50p by then would be fantastic.

I share your sentiments about many of the day traders, especially if they allow themselves to be overstretched.

I am also old. Old enough to have grandchildren in university. I have been investing and trading shares, on and off, for decades. It's now more of a retirement hobby than anything else.

MET1 is an outlier in my portfolio. It's my gamble. I've looked at the facts, the accounts and the charts and came to the conclusion that it's basically valueless. Despite that I decided to take a gamble on their strategy.

All the rest of my portfolio consist of established companies that do well and pay dividends that I take as income to augment my pensions. I'll still be ok, even if MET1 goes to the wall.

I actually know a little about charts and company accounts, but not as much as I would like to.

My point is that unless you are actually the expert you seem to think you are, it doesn't sit well to suggest that others know less than they do. Even if you are the expert you believe yourself to be, it still doesn't sit well. In fact, it's downright patronising and does nothing to improve the discussion. It actually puts people off taking you seriously.

Think about it.

I don't know how long the downtrend may last. Possibly until we get positive news from MET1?

For anyone who's interested in the meanderings of a senile old guy who's been trading shares as a hobby, with mixed success, for decades:

The MET1 share price chart seems to have moved out of its cup stage and developed a handle. That is usually a good sign as it is often followed by a significant upward movement in the share price. However, it might not happen on this occasion as the cup is more of a shallow saucer and the handle is horizontal. That suggests that there aren't enough people buying.

I don't know why you've been filtered but I agree with your post. It's important for everyone to be open to a wide range of ideas, even if they don't agree with them. It's the only way people enlarge their experience of life. But then, I speak as an experienced old guy.

One of the reasons why mining has the reputation of being risky is that many prospective mines don't work out. Small companies with few prospective mines could go bust. MET1 is different in having several prospects. Even if only a few of them succeed MET1 could still be worth billions.
