Thank you for your response. I'm sorry if I was a bit hard on you.
I share your sentiments about many of the day traders, especially if they allow themselves to be overstretched.
I am also old. Old enough to have grandchildren in university. I have been investing and trading shares, on and off, for decades. It's now more of a retirement hobby than anything else.
MET1 is an outlier in my portfolio. It's my gamble. I've looked at the facts, the accounts and the charts and came to the conclusion that it's basically valueless. Despite that I decided to take a gamble on their strategy.
All the rest of my portfolio consist of established companies that do well and pay dividends that I take as income to augment my pensions. I'll still be ok, even if MET1 goes to the wall.
I actually know a little about charts and company accounts, but not as much as I would like to.
