BH good post yesterday @17:52, recent talk of 10p/20p/30p is the difference between a MarCap of £750m and £2bn seeing as we have over 7bn shares in issue.
If everything lines up and we do prove up several hundred million barrels of oil and 200 - 300bcf of gas then indeed sp could / should hit double figures but it's always important to keep our feet on the ground and take in to account sp will be MarCap divided by shares in issue (without adding technicalities P/E ratio etc).

Hi GP, I read that and think 'stream' is just a wrong choice of words and believe ismalia is referring to both news of WN and S&S intentions will be known by Xmas, perhaps even news of how / what vehicle will be considered for monetisation.
All depends on success of course and Xmas will come soon enough, either way.

City Confidential stated that Reabold has other interests mainly off the Dorset Coast... (then mentions Romania & California) so whilst it's nice to get positive bulletins if they knew their onions they would know that Colter is dead in the water both short and medium term and the use of 'mainly' suggests they are not that well researched in RBD :¬)

Popolo I see it as the same just worded differently, MRE being Maiden / Minimum Resource Estimate as the first stab at deciding how much there is which will then be upgraded ( or not ) once all the drilling activity is done. That's my take as Havieron keeps on getting bigger with each set of drill results so Maiden or Initial is same thing in my book but happy to be corrected.

merc, you mention Goliath at the end of your post as the biggy, have any calcs been done on this project as to what it 'could' hold. Apologies if this has been discussed but I thought Havieron was the jewel in the crown size wise.

DH it did come across as disrespectful to shareholders due to its matter of fact abruptness, as I said earlier could have given a lot more upbeat statement.

I did expect that the LOI would not be signed off at the meeting, however, it is most basic and a very bland announcement, could have added an awful lot more in making it more appealing to the market, there must have been positives from China Coal & the Sheikh etc.

Without doubt whilst todays meeting is a game changer for ORCP I am fully prepared for excellent news but also do not expect the outcome of the LOI to be actually signed at the meeting.
I believe it will be an update to the effect that LOI conditions have been met and agreed by China Coal, the Sheikh and of course Orcp and that signing off of LOI is imminent.
As others have said there may well be other updates for Orcp certainly where the Sheikh is concerned.
I am a holder here and just keeping my feet on the ground as some PI's ( I hope they are correct and would love to be wrong all day every day ) are of the opinion the LOI is a foregone conclusion as a result of the meeting.
Have no doubt the people attending assure me its going ahead, 100% ,but we may just have a tiny bit more waiting.

Personally I would prefer, if it's good news, to get the RNS 7am Monday, this would prevent loss of momentum from being released for a few hours ( Fri pm ) to have markets shut over the weekend.

RBD's presentation NPV's are calculated with oil @$55 so whilst we are getting there I suspect we will be a tad short, however, if the Kirkby liquid hydrocarbons do turn out to condensates then they can command a hefty premium well above Brent.
Cadeby NPV alone is quoted at $850m. It does have to be there but this really has the makings of a giant onshore discovery.

A £1 would be nice but I think we can get to 8p - 10p if West Newton hits every target, both Gas & Oil. If West Newton C & West Newton D prove to be a mirror image / extension of A & B then we could see 15p even more on news of a Mid Tier / Tier 1 Oily coming in to allow monetisation.

BH thanks and apologies for late reply, 15m is not to be sneezed at and BMC77 exactly correct in that there was an AGM vote prior to that RNS with one of the resolutions stating share buybacks / dividends etc, worded much more eloquently but their aim is to return profits to shareholders when they can, especially if mum & dad hold several hundred million of them :¬)

BH if everything falls in to place volume wise then WN will make National News, being onshore, and may well create enough market interest and financial fund backing to attempt an IPO.
Can I ask how many you hold mate not a problem if you do not want to divulge, being nosey nothing else.

With Sachin Oza's family buying in at well over £1m worth of shares this for me was the biggest indicator that IF West Newton is as successful as many believe it will be then there will be rewards given back in some form of remuneration or another to PI's and II's alike ( certainly those stumping up £24m will want rewarding ). But I stress WN has to be a success for returns other than a rise in sp.
I do agree in part with Persimmon that if monetisation takes place then a % will be used for other projects but also a % return to shareholders, most obvious vehicle being a one off special dividend. I would guestimate a 50 / 50 split on reinvestment to dividend and with a billion dollar + valuation of a successful WN then that could be several hundred million dollars apiece :¬)
Upon such a success I could see a special dividend in the region anywhere between 3p - 5p.

As Hamlets opening line stated "To IPO or not to IPO that is the question".
