The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
600T it's not ramping if you are quoting facts, actually ARB went to £3.71 intraday and settled around the £3.50 mark for a fair while. Obviously it was a newcomer and all the factors for Bitcoin were favourable at the time but unicorns can be made almost overnight.

Some decent buys going in, doesn't take much at this sp for it to rise, should really be nearer 0.15 / 0.2 just on the back of the copper grades which are superb, even that would give people buying in now a profit of 50% - 100%.
Great price to get in imo.

Thanks Addison reciprocated in kind for tomorrow and also Colin, just seen yesterdays post. There are a lot of news updates that could be positive, filing of patent/s, increased speeds and energy saving, experimental mining results, possible deals with majors, some blockbusting to the moon etc and some not quite so but nevertheless moving in the right direction but only one which we don't want and that is failure to achieve any real success.
On that score we should be encouraged by news of anything positive which could come from any of the above and just hope that it is not negative.

The last RNS for me was pretty detailed, FG stated as much as he could. The last paragraph of his final statement said it all.
"The complexity of the task makes predicting the time frame for publishing new results and operational updates difficult......and ask for shareholders patience until these efforts are rewarded by success".
Its not an exact science and the complexity is probably beyond us all to the point of embarrassment, FG has stated he can't give an exact time frame so he has been honest and open about it, that'll do for me and I will await news as and when it arrives.

I have to say when the May 23 RNS came out it did give rise to an awful lot of conjecture as to what 'live experimental BTC mining' meant.
I have to agree somewhat with Addison as to you can't mine bitcoin experimental or otherwise if you don't actually end up with a bitcoin, it may well be on their IT R&D platform as stated but successful mining is final surely, you can't say well we nearly got one and think we will get one.
I think test results will show bitcoins mined but will be labelled 'mined through experimentation' as opposed to the Market announcement that QBT are now a Solo Bitcoin Miner.
Either way I think news possibly mid August, at the very latest, due to the patent being put on hold ( for fantastic reasons ) to allow for even greater improvements.

Pricey 1st class post, balanced and well thought out.

Quite often you have a chance to ask questions once the resolutions have been voted on and get a feel of the company and personnel with it being face to face that you wouldn't get from an rns or podcast. One I attended recently had drinks and a buffet and was very relaxed with open chat for nearly an hour.
But I agree at the end of the day attending will not change the outcome of the company and the same situation will exist either way, sometimes it's just nice to meet in person, that's all.

Havoc that's pretty well spot on. All investors wishing to take part need to check their Account Management section with the broker they deal with i.e HSDL, Hargreaves Lansdown etc and look for special instructions notification. It will be very similar to an unread e-mail in your normal e-mail account.
That's it basically it, those who have opted for 'News Alerts' should also get notification via normal e-mail account.
As for what the offer contains we won't know until RNS announces the detail.

It's my birthday Wednesday so that's fine by me :¬)
And yes PAS Crypto is here to stay and will become mainstream in most governments probably in the form of stablecoins, the biggest advocate in the UK being Rishi Sunak.

22Star it will light the touch paper as I cannot see either of the 2 NDA majors walking away on successful results, why would you when you agree to partnering at the testing stage only to walk away once you have achieved your goal. They will also want a slice of the pie.
It's important to remember the NDA 's werent just a paper document but teams on both sides put their heads together as well as prototypes handed over. As FG stated he was taken aback at how the majors jumped on board at the first chance.
Positive news is all it will take.

I remember watching the podcast when Katie asked FG a question which prompted him to state he is aware of the content of the latest patent that Intel have filed and he says it with the biggest smile I have seen him do to date. The body language alone oozed that Intel have not even come close to what QBT were doing / achieving with their latest patent and a ' we are not worried in the slightest' stance.

For FG to quote "a step change" or even the possibility, he must have a very strong belief that what he / qbt have is very near to achieving that. At the time I was trying to digest everything else that was contained in the update and 'filed' it with the rest.
Now, having time to digest his words, in my opinion I think he is actually talking about a completely new direction in mining that does not exist anywhere and the reason it does not exist is because he has successfully applied the "understanding the intelligence and not brute force", his quote from Proactive podcast stating the big guns just throwing more and more ceiling to floor warehouses crammed with computing processing.
What has he got that allows him the confidence to believe he can bring that to the industry?
We could well be on the cusp of something so different that bitcoin mining does have to alter its current course to a completely new direction ( step change ) or be left behind using an outmoded method.
May / may not, but its a bold statement that if I had said it then I would only have done so on what I had witnessed within the work and accomplishments that was being carried out in front of me.
Lets see but expect several rns's within a short space of time as each milestone is breached incl hopefully deals from the global majors on the back of them.

ARB sp peaked at £3.71 ( intraday ) MarCap approx £1.7bn, they only had 500m or so shares in issue.
QBT have double that circa 1bn shares in issue so we would be £1.70 on same MarCap as ARB.
If we as most have stated in the past become as successful solo miner we would be nearing the the £1bn evaluation given to smaller players breaking in to bitcoin scene. That would bring our sp towards the £1 mark. Not too shabby and if we announce a joint venture with either of our NDA Global sized partners the we will be off to the races.
Nothing certain yet but successful results or even a 'stepchange' to the whole current bitcoin industry set up then sp could go anywhere.
atb.
It is easy to overthink and become fixated whether or not we are linked to the fluctuating price of Bitcoin. My take is we are not joined at the hip but have a simple acceptance that as we are, amongst other things blockchain, but also looking to become a solo miner that the price of Bitcoin is relevant as to what size of profit can be made at its current price.
If Bitcoin is $100k and profit is $85k per coin this would be much more favorable to QBT than if Bitcoin is £20k and profit $5k per coin, obviously.
The sp can be about the potential and momentum before the poc actually lands. If any company was looking to get in to a market where the prize is no profit but break even then the sp would reflect that and so to summarize for me the higher price of Bitcoin the higher sp on expectation / potential ( assuming the expectation is realistic, which it appears to be ). Bitcoin price has been pretty flat for a month or so and so are we basically, both having little peaks and troughs.
The final sp on news will be set at the MarCap the market rates our NAV at, nothing else.
