Now nothing is certain and this could fail, I don't think it will now that CTP are on board and in particular John Heugh (30 years Central Petroleum and drills galore along with $500m raised over that time) on Georgina's BOD. However, if unsuccessful, unlike Dudley, I will take it on the chin and move on and not let it be a thorn in my side (and both arms and legs) his cortisol levels must be through the roof, I kid you not.

Not a huge amount of detail but confirmation that Central are expanding and finalised a deal with ADZ, CTP a great partner to have on board for next Summer's MT Kitty drill and the Behemoth that Dukas is predicted to be.

A very nice news release by Central Petroleum this morning informing final signing of contracts, unconditional as all requests met by both parties, with ADZ, brimming with confidence and all about expanding their portfolio in the NT with mention of Helium and Amadeus Basin projected works.

John Heugh is running the show for Gex, former founding Director of CTP and 30 years of drilling with them and 100% his idea to drill for Helium when approaching A Hamilton & M Wallace five years ago.

A Hamilton has 14m shares and M Wallace has 11m shares. Like all shareholders they will not want the sp down at this level and know it is only going to move on news and they will be working flat out behind the scenes to issue a news update from many fronts, numerous contracted companies for road / airport repairs, well - pad construction engineers, rig mobilisation, and the one which is undergoing the most stringent due diligence the funding incl the 'small print'. This will be run past accountants / solicitors etc from all sides and is not a 5 minute task.

Once funding announced it should be all systems go. I would expect an update by the end of the month, once the first one lands then there should be a regular release as each piece of news drops prior to spud.

Either way, not long now.

central petroleum and georgina are focused on helium but santos are concentrating on nat gas so after deliberation they have decided the synergy with santos prospect falls outside the direction of where we want to go.

central petroleum are not going to give away a % of ownership for nothing you ******ed numpty, iq of a dead ant springs to mind.

but don't worry there will be a flurry ( that rhymes!) of your cohorts coming to your rescue, cue newbie, buried treasure et al.

Vintage good find, It does look like it was Georgina who pulled the plug on that prospect pleased we have focused on the two larger prospects, MT Kitty proven world class concentrations of He & Hy (9% & 11%) and Dukas which has been described as possibly the largest untapped helium prospect in Australian history.

I note this morning on ASX that Central Petroleum are undertaking a 'Buyback' of 745, 258, 314 shares for cash from Nov 25 - Nov 26. This is always good news for a Company and done from a position of financial strength and confidence in the future sp which is what any company doing a JV with ( i.e Gex) will want to see.
