There will have been an update as per the deadline just an RNS not required to release the content by the looks of it. Just wondering if there is anything on Eagle / Holywell / Atlantic sites if we do some digging, mind you unless it appears on here unlikely to do anything to underpin. Also I suppose as the saying goes no news is good news.

This should spike on success but agree with others if we can get something else before Colter it just takes away the one trick pony otherwise the spike will soon deflate.

doubleup if you have a huge loss, which I did not know about, then its understandable to have the knives out for ADL but all it will do is continue to increase your bitterness, I lost £500k ( yes half a million ) and with it my life savings as well as money borrowed from the wife on a 'no brainer' except it wasn't. I did not sleep well for an entire year so trust me i understand better than anyone,

However, i had a choice to let it eat away at me or not let the bastards defeat me. I decided on the latter and over the last 3 years have recouped all of it, with an awful lot of luck I might add, so it can be done.
So much so my £80k here is a free float.

My point is you can make some money back on this share and a decent amount if we do get to 2 - 3 p from where we are now.
I took a huge gamble and borrowed money to start again, probably the worst advice I could give to anyone and you could be digging an even bigger hole, but the bottom line it was my choice to invest and lose and no one else's fault, I was big enough and ugly enough to take it on the chin.

Get something back mate, Colter plus the bonus 15m barrels will see the sp rise multiples if we get a buyer (which i think will be Wytch Farm) then walk away.

Kensington clearly states that with Colter Success then the broker rating will be 2.5 - 3p, so not a ramp but on success of Colter coming good, it might not but how can we stay at 0.5p if we get 3m barrels net.

A bit early for news its only been 1 week, they stated 2 weeks but if they proceed with the pace of the 1830m main drill ( completed in 2 weeks instead of 3 ) then we could hear before the cop this friday.
Be nice to get an update on Badger or anything else Simon was hinting at in the recent RNS.

Hi Boom $30 a barrel it is then :¬)), joking apart the rig can be clearly seen from land / Wytch Farm and in geographical terms 'next door'.
As others have stated the extraction / processing of oil from Wytch Farm is extremely lower than their capacity and is a result of depleting resources, so if that is what they do and what keeps them going it will defy any logic for them not to want to be part of an extra potential of 40m barrels, even at 10,000 bopd it is 11 years worth.
The price we can debate on but far more important than that we just need Colter North to come up trumps.

Hi Smoggy, your calcs ae spot on if we end up with 3m barrels @ $15, I make it 5.77p as I used the 587m shares after placing not 600m ( every little helps :¬)
The figure in the ground has many different drivers to determine the price but the main one is ease of extraction / commerciality.
For every $1 a barrel extra we can get for sell price it equates to roughly 0.5cents, so if we can get $18 then its another penny or so, of course the same applies for evrey $ a barrel less!
We sit and wait.

Its only 4 days since the RNS to sidetrack so I agree either they have the tasmanian devil of a drill bit or just a bit too early to know.

I have moved shares in the past as a straight swap in to my ISA allowance and they have shown up as a sell which I suppose for a split second they are until bought back, not sure if this is what is termed Bed & Breakfasting or not.
It's possible some of those trades are such but only summising.

Currently $66 and the 1 Year forecast, as much as they can predict is $65, obviously any world upheaval would affect this but it should command a decent price in the ground, certainly double figures.
Most companies yardstick to work out what they should recieve is with oil priced at $55, RBD have used this and have evaluated receiving $15/$16 a barrel, if that's the case then even $17/$18 is possible at $66. Doesn't sound much difference but every single $ could add 0.5c to the sp.

Depends how you determine a miss lol, if we 'miss' again with 19 - 23m barrels I don't mind. Joking apart I know that the sidetrack will be at an angle I am assuming this increases the chances of success.
From the opertors perspective I would think Corallian are very happy to have 15m and now heading for the main appraisal, the reason they missed was they stayed on the wrong side of the fault line, they know that and it has to help them for where they need to go now.

Considering how quickly the main drill was completed I'm hoping its only 1 more week / close of play Friday.

Also hopefully just a tad too early to have results known even to insiders of the sidetrack, less than 1 week from starting.

Agree Paul especially looking at RBD, they stumped up £750k immediately to Corallian. No hesitation whasoever and they could barely conceal their excitement of the additional 15m or so barrels and literally laughed at the interpretation / reaction of the markets.
I follow RBD and their CEO;s Steve Williams & Sachin Oza are no mugs, fresh from the city with pedigree backgrounds in Fund Management & Finance of the Oil & Gas sector, they want a lot of bang for their bucks and do not part with money easily.
It was a definite endorsement for me.

I expect side track to be quicker than the main 1830m drill and that only took 2 weeks instead of 3 so as my previos posts I also expect it to be completed by end of next week, possibly mid week.
The £700m tag for the south colter find equates to $62 x 15m barrels, ( $930m @ £ exchange rate = £700m) it just is a question now what price we can get per barrel.
RBD calculated a value to them at $56m for their 16% and that was just the expected North appraisal. That is nearly $16 a barrel.
If the sidetrack just comes in as expected ADL will have ( with combined north & south totals) nearly 3m barrels
(1.76m & 1.2m). Even at just $10 that will be $30m and I can't see the price being set that low.
It really all is down now to sdetrack success of expected volumes.

Hi Boom, looks like it from the dates that are listed and the word extant means still existing / still alive ( and yes I looked it up lol) I suppose its the opposite to extinct (that's my input) so it would be nice if its still a possible, would take away all the emphasis of Colter being our one trick pony. So long as Badger doesn't follow Bunga in the same way it could underpin the sp and even retrace slightly. I am still expecting further news on another investment as per last paragraph of yesterdays RNS hinted, to me at least.

The reporter after quoting those figures then goes on to say they are now testing a further sidetrack, so its the figures for the additional well the 15m barrels or soand its the usual jotted notes from a local network.

Due by 01st March so Friday RNS due, assuming an RNS has to be released for it.

Boom if Badger goes ahead and we get on board with any % then at 500+ bcf that would be transformational, but not getting carried away just yet, lets see what the Badger update holds ( know by Friday I think ) , still very uncertain about Badger but I agree something else is about to be announced to what we already know / have.
