Now talking on other boards that Colter South may well have an upside to the 15m barrels quoted 2 weeks ago.

4 Buys v 1 Sell ratio, 95m v 24m. We are in the aftershock stage and not all thinking this is dead in the water if you look at the trades.
RMP dropped like a stone after their RNS and then multi-bagged on the same RNS a day or so later, all those that sold at a huge loss must be sick as a parrot. RMP even tweeted it was not as bad as people had initially interpreted it and then bang it went up 100%+ in a blink of an eye several days running.
Can you compare ADL, not yet but RBD and UOG seem quite upbeat compared to ADL & BOIL with the same RNS.
My point rather than sell at a huge loss just hold until the final decision on the 15m potential recoverable barrels, you are at a paper loss anyway, nothing to lose by waiting a bit imo.

Hi Jace, If we all knew the outcome before it happened then yes, I would do the lottery if that were the case mate lol but we don't so you make your decisions based on your own research or gut feeling, whatever.
This did not come off but it could have, it;s called risk v reward. Boom is down like everyone here who was invested, he believed it would succeed along with the vast majority, myself included, as did the JV partners one who put in £750k at no notice they were that confident.
I for one will not sell at this level because there is no point and agree with the poster that you may as well wait and see at this level for what the JV consortium do next, it may be nothing but wait and see for me.

if the 15m can be commercialised and it's a big if then we have 1.2m barrels, that's about it.

Hi SandyS that's the only lifeline and will Colter South be able to be commercialised. Originally 19m - 23m barrels for the main appraisal but end up with 15m on a 'miss', so on that score it's damage limitation.
But can they commercialise the 15m, that's the question.

I don't dwell on the past it can't be changed, I am forward looking but if it doesn't come off it doesn't but I certainly wouldn't hang around on a chat site I am not invested in and I am not even referring to you double. I will move on if Colter fails and Simon does not come up with anything else.

With regards to what else do ADL have apart from Colter not a lot that's for sure, but just imagine what Simon could do with $30m - $45m in the bank if Colter is a success.
Depends if you have a glass half full or glass half empty outlook on life.

Again I am happy to be here those that aren't shouldn't worry as it will not affect them. For me the huge returns potential outweighs the risk / reward.

Hi Boom, yes if Badger is still a goer and we get even a small % of 500 bcf it will be mega for the sp. Just 3% would amount to $150m ( 500 bcf x $6 per 1000 cu ft x 3%) We can dream mate and even if people dispute my calcs it is still an awful lot in comparison to our MarCap.

On succesful news then sp will go up obviously but its possible there will be 2movements in sp, firstly as stated on good news of Colter and secondly, if not announced at same time as succesful drill, the news that a buyer has been found / monetization.
We could get 3m barrels net to ADL but we need to sell it.
Personally think it will go to Wych Farm operator but my point is I expect a double shift in sp a little time apart maybe with the bigger rise in sp on monetization.
It's just possible it could happen in one hit although probably not.

lot of excitemnt starting to brew, rumours and thats all it is as far as I can see that oil samples have been recovered, could just be a ramper but mm's moving their sp quite rapid.

Jace before you go would FS Carrick still need to go back and forth from rig to shore with cuttings / analysis for sidetrack as per main drill.
I would have thought so, any sightings of this do you know ( or BP Tankers :¬) )

Then Simon needs Colter to push away from the past failings, Colter can be a success, there is 15m barrels or so by mistake so if North appraisal is found via sidetrack then Simon will have a lifeline to pursue other avenues although its not a difficult guess to expect most to jump ship immediately on Colter success.
It really is about Colter lock stock and 'barrel'.

Hi Boom I have not been here as long a many but is Simon a fairly recent addition, get the impression a lot of the past woes have David Whitby's name on them.

Would a Private placing have to be run by sharehoders for approval, I'm guessing not, could this be what was in the last pararaph of the RNS. Might get an update, might not.
