Sepco are buying into a multi project Kibo not a single project. The way things are at the moment MCIPP with more coal looking at 600mw plus Shumba who has access to to BSE for Pension funding is looking more like a game changer by the day. Sepco are important, hence the joint nature of the tender just submitted.

I suspect for the amount involved the risk of a larger price rise may be something the Farminee may not wish to see.

Brom I think the land that is being swapped is SOA and not federal land. Has the federal land ever been leased in the ANWR. No idea if there is an acerage cap on Federal lands

There was a Time that our Icewine section was very unloved except for that odd guy from Houston chasing a vapour phase. Even GB thought we were too far south for the shale soup kitchen. Now ken peters tell us that the odd guy was right all along and that it was he who did not get those key acres.

Now we have CONVENTIONAL Discovery status for two leads that should not exist plus Potential/Discovery for some more. All in 1.2BB that have no right to be there:)). Wonder how much is sitting under the two main Leads in the central section. Bring on the new 3D. Does Alpha sit in splendid isolation to the East?

Exxon and COP still seem to be pretty much committed to the NS as are the other tier 2 guys such as Oil search. Activity on the NS does seem to be increasing.

BP had walked off the NS when a junior wild cat hit the big one at Prudoe on leases that BP was about to give up, a near huge mistake for them. Will pulling out too soon be another huge mistake?

Sepco is indeed important as far as MCPP goes and will certainly be taking a view of the whole of the Kibo portfolio in the decision making process. Shumba and Minergy in Botswana have done well from pension funds funding on the BSE. No need to rely on an outside partner to achieve that.

We know the big oilers are restricted under SOA rules as to what they can hold. If 88e is a favourite junior we will know when DW announces the results of the FO process.

Good news they have had more than a few looking at the data room. So 88e may get what they want at a price they are happy with. Time will tell, and hopefully prior to year end, this year!!.

How much was the back garden worth as raw land without planning permission?. How much more was it worth with planning permission? how much more is it worth with your house attached.? You have been creaming the curve.

For 88e the permits are the planning permission. The seismics are the next next step in proof of value which is part of where the back costs will come from on a Farm Out. The exciting thing is that the seismics have identified leads as Prospects. Two of those leads are rated Prospect/Discovery and two more as Discovery. Those four leads are thought to be holding 1.1BB in their back garden.

I bet you wish it was your back garden with just one of the leads, the smaller one, as Discovered:))

Proving up a ''Never been seen before hybrid with both good and bad attributes'' at a cost of 50m$ to release over 2Bb is a great deal. We know that the Horizontal net to 88e is circa 12m$Us as already advised, and they know the location of the upper zone.

Why is the integrity of the lined well bore questionable? The last time they went back in the well. the area of concern was the sump, as the frac may have moved the proponent back into the bore sump, which it did not.

The Test match yesterday was really quite exceptional for both teams as the weather is often a great leveler and dilutes basic skill sets. The Boss wanted to know if we were sharing the same rain cloud as it was lashing it down where we were as well:)

My role is back to where it was two years ago. residing the other side of the gates of hell has been an eye opener as opposed to jetting in for a few days and out again as it was before.

I dread to see what the place will be like when we get home. We be in Clarke quay and will catch the game there after dinner over a few glasses of red.
