Also it was created to tackle malaria and has been re-tasked. It just doesn’t feel as good a fit as SNG001 to tackle this virus. Being that SNG001 infbeta is specifically inhaled into the action area and was designed to tackle respiratory disease with an underlying infection. Sound familiar?.

Tbh Tom I’m no expert my background is horse racing I’m good at spotting value there :). Been researching this company a fair bit. I’ve bought at lots of prices over the last few weeks bought at 41p sold at 71. Bought in again around 50p and under. I’m not sure it matters a great deal what you get in at but I would do it sooner rather than later. If this share hits it could be many multiples of its current M Cap. I would concentrate more on that then whether you buy in at 50p or 60p, it’s not really going to matter much hopefully :). Look at the monthly or three monthly chart. It’s only going one way. Tom- I wouldn’t be worried at all about phase III. This would be to analyse side effects and comparison to other drugs currently on the market being used for COVID, which their isn’t. 70-90% of drugs which pass phase II get through phase III. Be a case of sit back and enjoy the ride at that point.

Andy, I think in a couple of months time whether you bought in at 41p or 68p it will be irrelevant. Would you be worried now if you had bought Novacyt at 60p or 80p?.

Interesting to see how the Saudis get on with Interferon B, the eastern provinces like Dhamman are in total 24 hr lockdown at the moment. This includes Saudi Aramco HQ where I know someone who is going through it. They will be putting their considerable financial might into solving this one. Hopefully Interferon gets the nod.

I don’t like it either. Doctors and nurses who are working long shifts don’t need to be facing questions from the likes of us. An earlier tweet suggests he knew about SNG before posing the question anyway.

We are the only ones with inhaled interferon beta 1a. The delivery system is unique. From what I remember reading about Tizania there product is a different protein base. Totally untested as mentioned not even gone through phase I trials yet. So SNG are way ahead on that score and Tizanias market cap the other day was nearly double SNGs. No brainer really. Tizania is listed on the Nasdaq though to be fair but I’d much rather be in SNG.

Don’t know what you think but I was under the impression that the first patient was fully dosed at Southampton by 31st March which allowing for two week assessment should be around the 14th?. Could be just coincidence with the timing but I suspect an announcement of some kind may be forthcoming next week. ?

I think some were disappointed that SNG were taken off the recovery trials but in all fairness I think I’m correct in saying the other drugs being looked at have more proven efficacy. Doesn’t mean to say they will be more effective, my feeling is SNG have the top treatment but the NHS probably wanted to see more efficacy results which hopefully SG016 will provide. Why would they pump SNG into a thousand or more people without result findings from a smaller sample which Synairgen are undertaking currently. As far as I’m aware SNG001 can be added to the recovery trials at any point so I’m certainly not panicking about them being left off for now. For me the background and targeting of this drug is at least, if not a lot more relevant to tackling COVID19 than the other front runners. Time will tell but quietly confident. DYOR.

A lot of pressure to expedite at the moment though!. Also SNG is in contact with lots of health authorities and governments, not just our own. Should this drug show efficacy it will be in demand the world over. At that point I cannot see how our government with this drug on its doorstep, manufactured in this country, would not expedite it through.

I should add SNG001 was also being used (to treat) against COPD, and was in phase II trials before that testing was paused to enable complete concentration on COVID19. Testing to that point I believe was going well so it would appear given what we know about it’s limited use against Sars, Mers, Asthma, COPD and Covid19 that this drug is a treat all respiratory lung infection drug. The upside is surely huge.

The thing is Tricky, SNG001 has been well tolerated with no major side effects as far as I’m aware. It’s been studied in over 260 Severe Asthma patients and used on other respiratory diseases showing good levels of tolerance which you would kind of expect from a protein that is naturally produced by the body. Phase III trials ,as I understand it, are to see loosely if the drug has side effects and to compare against other drugs on the market. At time of writing there isn’t any other drugs on the market that are proven. The side effects issue also looks positive on what we know so confident we can sail through phase III. 70-90% of drugs that pass into Phase III go on to market. Phase II is therefore the **** kicker! But I’m confident this drug will get through. So is the company or it wouldn’t have raised the 14m to fund its own trials and produce the interferon Beta. When you read about the company and people it employs they are perfectly positioned to lead the way against this virus.

I think the door is open for SNG001 to be added to the trial. The recovery trial I believe is only based on hospitalised patients. If I had spent years developing this drug I would want to know efficacy at all stages of infection. Ultimately I believe if the drug shows promise in the initial trial it will be added to a national trial with greater backing as they will need to test on greater numbers. Just need to be patient.

I think you are right. I’ve recently started looking at share trading having been more of a horse racing trader. Same principles apply though. People will always know more than you that are close to the animal/company but there are signals if you can read them. Certainly looking at the big money trades is interesting. Afterall they have a lot more to lose than you or I. At the moment anyways :).

I am assuming then it wasn't Mohn who went in buying 250,000 at 61.5p.
im happy to wager his opinion is more informed than Mr Mohn :). Who probably cashed out at 47p the other day.

Also the 8 shares bought at 5pm yesterday which some referred to as a MM'S 800 instruction. Being new i didnt believe it but very interesting to see that volume doubled compared to the previous day!! :). So now im beginning to believe the MM's have there own tick tack system.

Floyd not 250k worth of shares but 250,000 shares at 61.5p which was a buy.:). Not being finnicky just easy to mislead is all. Still 153k of someones hard earned dosh.
