Hope it does everything they say but would be a world record if they could get a vaccine together and produced and mass produced within 5 months. On top of that Vaccines more often than not cannot be taken by patients with low immune systems or with pre existing conditions leading to a lower immune system. Either way the market is still going to be big and also this is a drug to have stockpiled in anticipation of the next respiratory virus. Afterall we’ve had at least 4 serious ones since the start of the millennium.

Plus to this point (excluding current trials) we have concrete proof that SNG001 works to severely hammer infected cell replication in SARS which to date is the closest relation to COVID19. Similar positives from testing in the lab against MERS too. Just need it confirmed by these trials but given what we know about interferons and the way they orchestrate the bodies immune system against viruses ?? I’d be amazed if we don’t get efficacy to a high standard. Fingers crossed.

And of course SNG have the unique delivery system to allow drug direct application to the problem area (lower respiratory tract).

Titania, that would almost certainly be injected. Would be in breach of Synairgens Patent if it were in aerosol form. Let’s hope it works as another great promo for SNG001 and with the added advantage that unlike an injection (which can cause necrosis of the injection) SNG001 could be taken at home.

Seems rather a coincidence that fairly recently the WHO warned against people rushing to take hydroxy chloroquine or other drugs that contain hc due to side effects and untested nature of the drug in relation to COVID19. Then Trump decides to withhold funding for the WHO and accuses them of being in bed with China (who have used the aids drug/interferon beta 2b in combination to reportedly successful effect.) Trump must love HC or have friends in high places that do.

Interesting Warwick Lad has posted 80 times (61 of which are on the SNG chat) yet there isnt one that i can see that talks up SNG and im not talking about ramping. If you dont believe in the share or the companies aspirations why do you bother coming on here? weird.

For the record i got into share buying again recently and was attracted to SNG straight away so ive solely been on this chat site as i enjoy the views some of which are more informative than others but why bash people for having faith in the stock? Where did you get that info from Hill Billy. Synairgen website has them down as the same holding after placement. They were quick to change it when they increased.

Either way good to get the sellers out the way. As you say if you were them its a no brainer as its tidy profit like printing money. I still suspect they would have made a lot more if they held. But then there is the difference between hedging and gambling. These guys dont get emotional about stock they just churn the numbers. Little bit of vision is required here. Also unless they offloaded Lansdowne increased their holding. Their fund controls billions. I'm happy to go with their judgment.

If my maths are right the late trades add up to over 1,000,000. shares traded. I suspect most were buys. Had a proper feeling watching the market last couple of days price was being suppressed. So being fairly new here too would all those trades be from yesterday? doesnt say date on AVFN trading page for SNG.

I got shot down for saying earlier in the week but i wonder if SNG would be better off doing partnership deals or as their MO states to do licensing deals with big pharmas and then carry on doing what they are best at. Not sure what would be in shaeholders best interests a big pharma coming in for them or deals and independence on the other drugs they are developing . A nice problem to have either way i suppose.

Dont forget Chrishar. This drug has showed efficacy in trialling up to this point against Asthma and COPD. Both huge markets in their own right. Worst case scenario doesnt work against Covid (incredibly unlikely in my view), you still have a lot of potential value here. COPD second biggest reason people are hospitalized in this country. Asthma and COPD markets are worth billions. Thus do not panic. Jump in balls deep.:)

you have to remeber Chrishar that SNG001 is a new arrival compared to the other four major drugs being trialled. The thing is SNG001 has been produced by a small biotech that specialises in respiratory diseases. the others are retasked from HIV and rheumatoid athritis etc. I know who my money will be on as to most effectiveness. Our drug does need to have its profile raised higher for sure but could very well happen. This is the reason you have the opportunity to buy in at 50-60p. I wouldnt look a gift horse in the mouth. You have to remember too AZN are working closely with Southampton Hospital where Synairgen are based. They will be all over this if it works.

Hope it is quicker Pilgrim. The Patent is water tight as well. No one else is producing inhaled INF B1a to the lower respiratory tract without breaching it. America and Europe is covered does anyone know about Asia?

you probably wont get the trial results for three or four weeks yet. If it was awful the trial would have been stopped already i assume. The fact the NIHC came out and said trial of this drug was of utmost urgence has to be a positive as they would be in a more informed position than us or MM's. And they said that after three or so weeks of trial starting. Also do some research into the drug itself i think it will heighten your confidence as to efficacy etc.
