'If' they knew has nothing to do with it. You have to prove efficacy otherwise its subjective by definition. The only way to prove it is by trialling. Which is 100% correct. Or look at it this way, 'if' they knew it didnt work why has it been expanded to take in home trials too. Also it is impossible to guess the percentage of efficacy but we do know by Remdisivir that a small improvement in condition is enough to get you immediate approval emergency use. Throw in the fact that Interferon Beta 1a has shown anti viral benefits against other coronaviruses (Sars Cov, Mers Cov and H1N1) and I believe SNG001 is looking solid.

The World is going to need therapeutics not only for this virus but other future pandemics which will surely come. Respiratory Viruses have been on the increase since the start of the millenium.

tbh the risks are less in my view. Im pretty confident on efficacy. We get that in the tests and Phase III will be a rubber stamping job. Phase III is normally comparison and study of side effects. However SNG001 already has displayed tolerance with little to no side effects on 230 Asthma patients and in the COPD studies. Comparison to what? there is nothing to really compare against! Remdisivir has been given rapid approval by the FDA on the back of little to no benefit. This drug will fly through approvals in Phase III. I'm not aware of any drug this side of the pond that is in front of us regarding testing. Not entirely certain when the Discovery trials finish but pretty sure it wont be before June.

Supply and demand, the more that is made the cheaper it will be and independant reports have stated a lot more will be produced due to increased demand this year. Plus SNG001 contains more than just INFB1A. Formula is unique.

I think Rahul may be deramping, probably sold his position and wants back in cheap. Quoting American and Canadian medical costs is ridiculous. The cost of a hospital bed in the states has been mentioned at 3-4K a night!. No wonder people go bankrupt paying for their healthcare over there.

Don't know about everyone else, but I feel at the moment news can land at anytime now?. I know definitive results won't arrive till June but thats only 4 weeks away or just over and we've been told their will be further updates on the home/hospital trials of SG016. Very strong possibility of TR1's given the volumes recently and obviously always a decent chance of press coverage (although i agree we've been overlooked a little in that department) with testing potentially coming to a GP practice near you soon this is only going to raise SNG's profile. Exciting few weeks ahead.
