Assuming Lansdowne continued selling into the curve (probably more heavily) which would seem certain I suspect they could well be down to around 11% holding or lower. Maybe less as it was particularly high volume on Monday and Tuesday 4/5th May. Even delayed trades on Thursday from Wednesday were a high percentage compared to traded day volume to earlier in the week hinting at a seller behind the scenes, strongly believe Lansdowne were selling all the way through the week imo. Again this would almost certainly mean a TR1 disclosure on Monday or Tuesday next week. Couple this with the placement shares which would have been heavily sold I think we should now or very soon be out of the woods on the selling front and green lights and blue skies :).

Just been crunching some numbers. All in all 23% of the entire share issue was traded in SNG last week Mon-Thurs (not including Thursday late trades).

Something else that quite surprises me is that Link fund do not appear to be selling as you would have thought they would be under more pressure than Lansdowne to sell given the Woodford connection.

I know Lansdowne are in the spotlight here but we’ve also had the 40 million placement shares potentially coming onto the market. I would imagine a lot of these have been flipped over the last few weeks too. When you take a step back and look at it a lot of buying must have been happening for the share price to be 22p above the placement price of 35p. We know for a fact a large amount of selling had been happening. I agree with Orange there will be a sustained uplift once selling stops (or even reduced selling) prior to results of trials.

Is it not the same trade showing? It went through the same time 8.38am and 42/43 seconds. Could it be a mistake was made and should have been off book? Not sure.

Michaelhighbar- the answer is yes. On the patent, while ago that I read it, but it clearly states three or four symptoms of a virus which would be covered by the patent. Off the top of my head it was a temperature above 38.5c, myalga and sore throat. When I read it originally I knew SARS COV 2 fitted the bill. Bombproof on that.

Nolupus, you need to take something :). In all likelihood it will be a ****tail of drugs that will have major impact. Chinese were using two I believe. Interferon Alpha 2b which was made from a Cuban formula being one part. I did read that on research done in vivo beta was approx 14 times more efficient at preventing virus replication. Looking forward to seeing the results of the trials. Too many on here trying to preguess the results. Which no one can do with any certainty. What I do know is that in all trials against coronaviruses so far in vitro and in vivo INF Beta 1a has always shown a degree of benefit. If any of the doom mongers here know otherwise I’m all ears.

Trek- that’s a vaccine obviously. Phase II, being efficacy, is where nearly all vaccines will fall down unfortunately. Getting a vaccine is not a difficulty. Getting one that works effectively is a complete different story. Especially when viewed in light of recent evidence that suggests the virus protein spike which scientists are targeting to stop spread is being altered by virus mutations. Too early to say if this is a major problem but potential vaccines are still a fair bit away imo. Quite sombering to think we still don’t have a vaccine for AIDS and attempts to get a vaccine for dengue fever actually made the condition worse. Vaccines take time.

Seems to have been quite a few 10,000 buys looking at the trades. Hopefully it can build on this but probably depends on whether Lansdowne have cleared out or just taking a rest.:)

Nolupus, you just don’t give a positive feel from any of your posts and there is plenty of positives to draw from SNG and the drug, based in fact and theory. I don’t think SNG will be looking too hard at big Pharmas drugs tbh they’ll be too busy working on something better :). Trust me you ain’t the voice of reason. You are a passive deramper.

Maqsood, you need to check your timelines because they are incorrect. The first batch of results are due end of June (I believe this is the hospital part of testing). The home trial results will follow on. Unless I’ve missed it we haven’t had an RNS to say they have started home trial or any confirmation of them starting. We’ve had a description of how they will operate logistically. You know when you think back RM stated in the proactive interview that people would be rushing to get their drugs out there, especially the big pharma’s. But as he said, ‘data is king’ and rather than fall by the wayside which quite a few have SNG are going about their business to the highest standards possible. We should all support that invested or not. GLA.

Nolupus, we all know the risk here. Take it or go somewhere else. From what I can see you are not debating you just put the negative view down. Take this morning you mention massive Pharma’s, loads of money blah blah blah. Fact is Remdisivir has done dog **** trials, not double blind placebo’s (which are recognised internationally as the golden standard of drug trials). Remdisivir drug has shown limited effect at best and you champion it on here. Just misleading twaddle imo. We all know Lansdowne have sold shares and may well sell more. Won’t keep the share price down for long. I never said it was up,up,up. You just need a more balanced view imo. The annoying thing is when this share does start to motor you and the other derampers will all be nowhere to be seen. Very predictable but I’m looking forward to that day :).

So will SNG when they pass trials and partner up. Inevitable really. Maybe go off to one of those big drug makers and clog their BB Nolupus, getting tiring now.:)

No I wouldn’t say that simply because I don’t know the other 1200 odd. But I do know a bit about SNG and Interferons. I don’t see why SNG001 can’t be one of the best. I’m happy for the product to do the talking tbh. I’ve got faith in it but if someone hasn’t then that’s fine too. I don’t really understand the negative mindset. Seems that a frustrated SP brings out the negativity/derampers. They will all disappear once the SP starts to rise and it will. Lansdowne will stop selling at some point. We are going to get more good news before results are due so SP will spike up and down maybe a few times but big sellers will dry up. Just a waiting game.

Absolutely nothing. We know you love SNG and are rooting for the team to save lives.

Tis a bit frustrating to say the least as this share should be heading north of 85p now. With Lansdowne reducing their position, and other sellers noted in Ghia’s post below including placement shares the downward pressure has been significant. Hopefully this will motor away once the selling is completed. I’m thinking the 1,000,000 sale today was Lansdowne to another II. Makes sense as it protects to some degree the rest of their shareholding by not hitting the SP further. Clearly RM doing the rounds with the media has softened the blow somewhat but I do know one thing the Lansdowne shares can’t be sold again and this share once in the clear will definately pick up. GLA.

What do we think as to that trade? Maybe 1,000,000 placement shares traded between bigger shareholders?. Feels right. Hopefully we are getting through majority of those soon and someone thinks Synairgen is a good bet at 60p to take a £600,000 position in one hit.
