Ghia- I know what you are saying but I wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend :). Although my favourite still is ‘strap yourself in we are going to the moon’. That one has genuinely made me laugh for some reason and in these troubled times that’s never a bad thing.

It does appear to suggest news will be imminent, why bother directing investors and the public to their site if the CE testing hasn't gone well. Throw in HSBC taking 5% and things appear to be hotting up. Just a matter of time but fingers crossed for tomorrow. Be nice for it to land before the bank holiday weekend.

The science is saying that the virus switches off the interferon response but actively encourages the cytokine storm which causes inflammation, plus also attacking cells in the lungs which are vital for oxygen exchange. Which leads to respiratory distress and potentially death. This just reinforces my decison to stay in the stock and the belief that Interferons 1 are going to make a huge difference in this fight.

Its reminded me to remember the science and why we invested here in the first place. Who cares about Lansdowne and anyone else wanting to sell really. You believe in the product or you don't. If you don't then move on and buy something else. The following was quite something,

But when cells growing in lab dishes received the interferon IFN-1 before exposure to the coronavirus, “the virus has a difficult time replicating.”

After a few days, the amount of virus in infected but interferon-treated cells was 1,000- to 10,000-fold lower than in infected cells not pre-treated with interferon. (The original SARS virus, in contrast, is insensitive to interferon.)

This must be one of the most compelling pieces of science yet that Interferon Beta 1a has a huge role to play in this battle.

So am i right in thinking that HSBC picked up the 5.498% from BGF? or are the numbers just a coincidence. Good to have HSBC on board either way.

Have to say i was back home in Surrey and went for a walk along the towpath near Kingston and one of the river pubs as i approached i thought was open as people were crammed onto the pub tables and drinking from beer bottles etc. When i walked past it became apparent the pub was closed but people had just brought their own and carrying on as normal, no social distancing. Couldnt believe it tbh. Someone else I know said the same thing to a mutual friend so it wasnt just my opinion. How stupid/reckless can people be?.

You would hope that GDR had feedback about how long the process would take and potential expedited procedure from the CE team due to the nature of the product. It would seem odd to pull three week timeline out of the air when the average as I say is 6-8 weeks. I believe GDR will deliver on the Approximate three week timeline. We shall see.

It was three weeks from May 1st although as someone said CE mark procedure is out of their hands except how they respond with further info requests from the CE mark team. It may well not arrive until next week tbh. That still is pretty good as average time to obtain a CE Mark is 6-8 weeks. We just need to be patient people :).

Mr Buffett doesn’t have a problem with having all the eggs in one basket as long as you’ve done your research and you strongly believe you are onto a winner. So different strokes for different folks although I have a couple of interests. Funny but in the world of horse racing where I’m more versed it isn’t a bad idea to have a couple of darts in races that you play although it’s uncanny how often your main fancy comes through. No way I’d swap SNG for TILS. They haven’t long filed for the patent to their drug. Couldn’t even tell you where they are with trials? Phase 1? SNG are much further along with a drug that has proven tolerability in humans. Plus we don’t have the NASDAQ listing which has helped TILS. We are four or five weeks away from Phase II results or the first aspect of trials at any rate.

Ghia- I agree with that, this is by far the bigger upside if all goes well. People seem to have lost the idea that this drug could also be stockpiled by governments and Health authorities as a general anti viral capable of helping with this disease and future respiratory viruses. There has been at least four since the year 2000 (SARS, MERS, H1n1, Sars Cov 2) Will most definately be more unfortunately. I think you are right about splitting entry points too. And being willing to let a share go if you are not happy with the entry point.

Nolupus, people with Covid are clearly having interferon production suppressed by the virus. SNG001 will kick start the immune system by addressing the balance in these patients. As far as I’m aware people taking this drug have had no weakness to contracting lupus as a result of drug inhalation.

Ghia - both Market caps look too low to me. If either product comes through then big orders will come through and you can kiss goodbye to the current SP. it would also be hard to believe that negotiations regarding production and manufacturing have not taken place subject to results being kind.

Very good timing Ghia- I’m in at £1.50 :). I’m in here high fifties average but have guessed the peaks and troughs a few times on SNG and have managed to add more. I believe both SP’s but particularly SNG have a long way to go if all goes well.

I believe the delivery method and lung inhalation will concentrate the drug in the region of the body where the problem is. The problem with INF Alpha 2b and other injected treatments is that it fires up the whole system. However, many experts believe the cytokine storm isn’t going to be initiated by Interferon use. In fact the opposite is much more likely to be true as interferon orchestrates the body’s immune system to not overreact and take a balanced approach to Immuno control. This is supported by what the CEO said in prior interview, Dr Fish with her findings on Interferons and the Dr Heung who was in charge of the recent HK study. Please DYOR.

Fair play x66 you probably know more than me but when i saw they were incorporated a month ago I thought it a strange appointment and RNS. I dont think it had the impact they desired either.

Ghia - I know yeah :). I wasnt around for the heady days of Novacyt so i thought i'd try and pick another testing stock tbh. My main hold by a long way is SNG and this chat room is better imo, seems a bit busier. Just fancied a bit of variation.
