Its funny actually as ive been looking at a few other stocks to invest in as well as SNG and chose GDR, but pay attention to the RNS's from a few and was quite disappointed with the Avacta RNS this morning, which as far as i know stated that some company who no one has heard off and was incorporated one month ago! has distribution control of their new testing kit. It made me think thank god SNG don't do ridiculous RNS's just to keep their name in the lights. Hopefully they are doing better things with their time and i know that they are. SNG have had misfortune with distressed II's but imo it does not reflect on the company or the merit of their drug. Happy to let the drug do the talking and im in until results come what may.

Just seen a 180,000 sale go through after hours saying it went through at 16:42:44 at 157.51. Bit of institutional churn. Ive jumped on board here recently having been only in Synairgen and I believe strongly in both stocks having done some research. Just been frustrating with both regarding II's but you can't blame them for selling, we would probably all do the same in their position. Lets hope we get the CE news soon.

You'll do well to get into the 40's tbh there is a lot of resistance at 52-53p, if anything i see it finishing a bit higher today but its all about opinions.:)

On Friday, Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B) submitted a regulatory filing listing the huge company's stock holdings from the previous quarter. And a big biotech, Biogen (NASDAQ:BIIB), was one of the new additions. Never say never NOLUPUS their is always hope! Take a happy pill and double down on Synairgen :).

Doesn’t look like it will be gone anytime soon and far more likely to join the other coronaviruses that we cannot vaccinate against due to antibodies dropping off significantly like SARS COV, meaning our resistance drops off too to slight mutations which we know are occurring already. Antibody resistance drops off greatly after two years with SARS Cov. I think therapeutics are the only way we begin to move forward from this thing.DYOR.

My old China Warren Buffet said something like, ‘the stock market is a means of transferring money from the impatient to the patient.’ I think SNG will hopefully prove his point. I would say though rather than sell out of boredom maybe buy some shares in another stock that takes your eye. I did that as I needed a bit more action. Each to their own of course but if you do your research and pick a few you at least have a good chance of landing RNS’s more regularly. Always plough the profit back into SNG.

People should go to prison for sending elderly covid patients from hospitals back to their care home settings without being tested. In some cases i heard lack of fever for 48 hrs was enough to send them back to homes again. Problem with medical negligence is that the bar of proof is set so high it is hard to get convictions. By that I mean the policymakers should be held accountable not the people caring for the sick obviously.

Sounds like they have used it in the lab only. Thats a long way off from proving efficacy. The issue likened to a vaccine is not getting the product but proving tolerance and efficacy. Until you have that you have nothing, except promise clearly. Taking a slightly cynical view a lot of bio techs will see the current climate as a way to rush through years of testing and trials to get their product to market (in fact i remember RM talking about other companies rushing the procedure in the proactive interview in order to get to market, but stating that 'data is king'.) Personally I like SNG's approach they are doing the 'gold standard' of trials a double blind placebo, how many other trials are doing that?. Think i'm right in saying that evenRemdisivir didn't have a placebo as a control arm. Also a lot of these new therapeutics which are a long way off have been specifically designed to target the protein spike of the virus. They may not be much use when the next virus turns up with different characteristics in cell penetration. An effective general use anti-viral has massive potential. Just hope it is Synairgen who solve the therapeutic puzzle early prognosis or at least part of it in combination with other drugs at a latter stage of prognosis. Good weekend all!

There is a trial in Tehran currently that has tested INF B1a against INF1b, both being combined with a double drug treatment. The third arm is just the double drug on its own. Be interesting to see what they find although again only a small trial. Results should be soon however.

Dr Fish added: "Rather then developing a virus-specific antiviral for each new virus outbreak, I would argue that we should consider interferons as the 'first responders' in terms of treatment.

"Interferons have been approved for clinical use for many years, so the strategy would be to 'repurpose' them for severe acute virus infections.

"A clinical trial with a larger cohort of infected patients that are randomised to treatment with interferon-alpha or to a placebo would further this research".

Although a quiet day regards volume MM's putting through quite a few decent buys around 20,000 delayed an hour or two that are buys when you look back at the buy/sell rate at that specific time.

That is the great cliche fluff but the thing with the bio tech sector at the moment is it is such fast moving that anything could land at any minute, not really results as we are expecting those later at the end of June, but collaborations, funding (if needed), possible merger/takeover/licensing. Also home trials info we have been told will be forthcoming. Plus, what do you gain by leaving your hard earned on the sidelines? At least if you are in this stock or one of the many other bio techs over weekends you stand the chance of landing big news. If you get it good luck with buying back in on Monday morning. Not a game I would want to play tbh.

I believe it will provide benefit. It wont be the wondercure, there isnt one, anywhere. If it shows more efficacy than Remdisivir its a game changer. I'm hopeful it will at least do that. Have to remember too that we will have the edge over that drug as we can start treating people in the home environment if trials go well, can't do that with Remdisivir.

That’s incorrect closetrader, believe we have been updated that results are end of June. Also don’t think 100 were dosed at Southampton, on the Panaroma programme CEO and NIH (in their update on website) confirmed over 75 patients had been dosed. That was Monday before last. Full results are due from Interferon studies from Wuhan outbreak tomorrow though. This research was led by Dr Eleanor Fish.

The two main holders now hold a maximum of 26% down from 41% last June. In that time the SP has multibagged. Link and Licht haven’t sold so far, the other two Lansdowne and Griffiths were distressed sellers, their sales being nothing to do with company prospects or chances. The fact the SP has risen despite these sellers and the placement should tell you everything. DYOR.
