Little has changed really. It is looking likely the true value of SNG001 will be seen as an early intervention drug against the virus. It will be useful to see the comparison between the hospital data and the home trial data. This will give some indication to drop off effectiveness as days post infection go by. The aim is to get SNG001 into patients lungs within three days of infection in the home setting. As far as I know no other drug anywhere can be taken as an early preventative measure. Should this go on to be a success the demand will be huge. Governments will want to stockpile and care homes and the vulnerable will need it on hand too. SNG is a patient sit no doubt but i truly believe this will come good. Seriously hope so for the sick,company and PI's.

Should be able to make more money within a year from Covid testing sales alone than the company is currently valued at. How many compnaies out there could currently say that?

SGD27-Hopefully that won’t be required. Unlike the Remdisivir studies we are using a placebo so it will be pretty straight forward if benefit is there tbh. SNG are using the golden standard of trials so as it is a lot more thorough than most testing to date including Remdisivir studies there should be less ‘grey areas’ which CEO said they wanted to avoid as much as possible.

Unless they are a distressed seller, in which case they are forced to sell and happiness doesn’t come into it as you well know. Link should be under pressure to sell here and as far as we know haven’t sold a single one. Maybe they are very happy:).

The real beneficial results of SNG001 I believe will be when rapid POCT's are available and the treatment is administered early. Seem to remember in the recent article about how this virus manipulates our bodies own immune system stating that the interferon response naturally occurs within the first 7-10 days. After that the cytokine response is triggered more so if necessary. Clearly this virus is not killing people within 7-10 days of infection so this is the golden window of opportunity to boost vulnerable peoples immune systems. In general the elderly and people who have underlying conditions have less interferons to start with so virus replication will be faster and more damaging in this category. By the time this process has been going on for around two weeks they can be in real trouble and the second immune response, releasing cytokines adds to the inflammation causation and kills oxygen exchanging cells causing hypoxia which leads to organs coming under attack. So long story short any drug which can severely boost Interferon production in our bodies within the initial 7-10 day period must be of massive benefit. I dont see how that can be any other way tbh. I would strongly assume that patients enrollled on SG016 so far have been cherry picked, for lack of a better word to reflect the above timeframes involved. By getting early diagnosis and treatment into care home patients should show greater benefits imho. Lets hope so anyway!!.

Notnow20 - From everything we know I'm convinced their will be efficacy, particularly when administered early after symptoms onset (within seven days of symptoms showing). That would be individually, as a stand alone drug. Their may well also be benefit as part of a triple drug treatment when the treatment is more advanced. In my view that is a little more uncertain. The vast majority of cases once we have established POCT (point of care testing) available should be treatable within that earlier timeframe of diagnosis. RM said achieveing 'conclusive' results is putting it strongly and difficult to achieve in clinical trials. Different patients, different levels of infection, age, underlying conditions etc etc. But, from all the research I have read about Interferon 1 people sick with Covid will receive a massive benefit from taking SNG001 especially when administered promptly from onset of virus. I fully expect us and potentially others to beat the recovery times mooted about Remdisivir. That alone would see huge potential for this drug as a treatment and a big uplift to the SP accordingly. i do appreciate a decent debate as much as anyone and i agree their are always two sides to an opinion but as i've said before your comments are not really balanced imo. Don't know if it is intended but they seem quite negative or irrelevant to this BB like the other drug link you posted earlier. Dont think ive ever heard you say anything pro SNG. I'm not talking about ramping either. We can all see the rampers and derampers especially on a big blue or heavy red day. I'm interested in the science of SNG plusses and minuses, im not that bothered about reading about drugs that are still in Phase 1 trials and have no efficacy. Indeed, you are talking about other 'coins' not even the one relevant to this board. Their will be other boards you could hang out on that would welcome discussion on novel and other therapeutic treatments. I don't like filtering but I may have too if you keep on going off topic and passing yourself off as the voice of reason when you are anything but. Thats like saying Donald Trump is a balanced, reasonable, humane human being :). Good weekend all! Lets hope next week starts the SP climb to the trials!!

Don't worry about me my mind is very open. You don't seem to like being challenged on your opinions in my view. This is a SNG BB not one of the many other drugs you mention on a regular basis. You clearly didnt read the post you posted. The FDA have strong concerns about your latest drug being on fast track approval because of the side effects this drug has been proven to cause. Thats not my opinion its the FDA's ffs. Nothing to do with having an open/closed mind just the facts. All I can suggest is if you don't like your view being challenged don't post it.

All 11 trials haven't finished recruiting or even started recruiting in some cases. All phase one as far as i can tell. Given the doubts over tolerance, like Hydroxychloroquine, I would be very cautious but as i say lets hope it works. Would you rather take that or SNG001 if you had Sars Cov 2.?

Sounds a little like the remdisivir school of testing. Very early stages with testing not under controlled conditions and no placebo used that i can see. Also noted: 'One reason the FDA is cautious is that the drug can interact with other medications, and in some cases can cause complications such as nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, a sudden drop in blood pressure, liver problems and other side effects.'

Doesn't sound so good, and we know at the very least SNG001 is well tolerated in all trials its been in.

Potentially a lot of repurposed drugs that will be investigated but like the one below they are the result of in vitro testing so not even out the lab yet as regards Sars Cov 2 testing. This is a long way behind SNG001. Doesn't make us more likely to succeed granted but I won't be losing any sleep regards that competitor. We need as many drugs work as possible in this fight but one of the things that drew me to SNG initially was inhaled delivery direct to the lungs were the drug is needed. Plus the reports now highlighting the fact that Interferons are heavily suppressed by the virus whilst cytokines are actively encouraged by the virus gives me lots more confidence. Because Interferon 1 treatment will increase the immune response by encouraging production of interferons to ailing patients whilst dampening down the cytokine storm by placing the brakes on the 'call the cavalry aspect' thereby reducing inflammation. The two part process by which this virus marks itself unique, lowering interferon production and raising cytokine production looks tailor made for Interferon 1 products such as SNG001. I personally haven't seen or heard of a treatment with as much promise, hence why i'm invested here. Good to be aware obvs of other treatments but 'the race' is not going to be won necessarily by the first to market but by the highest standard of testing and ultimately efficacy to a high standard.

One thing I did like having recently bought into the share is that they said on May 1st CE mark news would be three weeks coming. Sure enough exactly three weeks later (22nd May) the RNS landed. GDR also said sales orders should come in during June. With all the other things going on too exciting times ahead for the company and shareholders!.

It will definately tick up first thing Tuesday. Their was good support at 52-53p around 100,000 on book waiting. Then they put a cheeky 51p trade through after close and a further one of 27,000 at 51p. Obviously someone needed a favour :). Considering we have had no news and are awaiting results whilst heavy II selling has been going on into rises or drips into quieter days the share has held up ok. We were still 50% above placement share price (35p). SNG will be going about their work and we know that their are Zip lockers on their trials. If any leaks had gone on we would be looking at 20p or 1.50p. I think all is good. But we do know we could get updates any moment as we were told in the last RNS. Exciting times ahead.:)

Duble D- we can all see that but that will change in the run up to the results, end of June, or any other updates emerge. Home trials info for example. Just need to hang tough and Duble down at the current SP. Do you see what i did there :).

You have to laugh that a post close cross trade knocks the SP down to 51p. Very much looking forward to the day when SNG can run free. Those 10,000 drip feeds are killing the SP currently but at least once II'S are done selling positions and placement shares flipped we should have a clear run up till the end of June. Quite surprised we didnt get another TR1 from Lansdowne. Maybe that will pop up next week. I don't believe PI's are selling 10,000 lumps at 53p, can't have it.

Chengdo- Good luck with that. Clearly II's happily getting involved today at the 180p level, two trades of 250,000 and another of 300,000 just gone through. At the current market cap people will cotton on its too cheap compared with the other bio's that are being played at the moment.

Shocker and Magsy you must be a couple of plums. If you believe the current market cap of £63 million is too high then you should sell and jog on. One decent sized order would make a mockery of this valuation. Their is a reason why HSBC bought a 5% stake and some big II trades are going through live. This one has a long way to go in the coming couple of months. Patient holders will definately be rewarded. Makes me laugh when posters say they have seen all this before. They haven't. This is a new virus which has created a huge new market for potential vaccines and therapeutics and testing kits. We are still in the early stages of this new era and testing kits are going to be required by the entire population, over 7 billion. To say its too late is a ridiculous comment. We are in front of Avacta and look at their market cap!
