I didnt want to instigate a conspiracy theory but it kind of feels right to me. I mean does anyone here really think SNG can handle a massive roll out of SNG001?. To satisfy orders that are potentially international they would have to have the logisitcs and manufacturing capacity ramped up considerably. Only a takeover/licensing agreement with a pharma is going to make this possible. Richard and the team know this. Be better for the patients too as it will get to them quicker. I do know that Evercore have a good relationship with AZN and my interest was taken with the rumour of a webinar session between the parties. If that is indeed true, im struggling to see what else they'd be talking about.

When you look at SNG with big hungry eyes and you want to get into the COVID race and then you see this minnow with a market cap around £86 million (currently) who have a drug that is looking very good in phase II expidited trials with the NIHR and NHA on board and potential home treatment. Then you look at the fact AZN were willing to offer £240million for the drug as an Astma treatment??? Why would you not be taking a position? It would be pretty much reckless not to be. Time will tell.

Should add the II’s won’t all sell but a fair few will. They ain’t important really as go the principles and product and goals of the company. If you believe in that hold. If you don’t sell and move on.

Dealer- might have something to do with 40 million shares being dumped on the market at 35p. It really is no surprise at all when you think about it. Once we are clear of them this will rise. Just need patience.

I agree Kwaboy, I’d be stunned if that wasn’t sorted in January or prior tbh. SNG wanted to get people into China and Italy from the outset. They would have been having these conversations back then. PI’s nearly always playing catch up imo.

Volume was over 11 million yesterday. I’m not sure anyone can say for certain who is buying/selling and why ? With any degree of confidence. A TR1 landing wouldn’t be a complete surprise.:)

Yeah I agree crookie, we are being held back a lot and probably have been for some time with the placement shares. Volumes were good today though and anyone wanting to sell had plenty of opportunity. Who knows when they will be out but something I take comfort from is that the product and the companies principles won’t change and this is their moment. I for one am holding.

This recent connection between Evercore and Synairgen is an intriguing event (assuming the webinar over telegram did indeed happen). I can't imagine SNG needed to raise cash as they've recently done the placing (raised £14m) Evercore have plenty of history with AstraZeneca. They were part of their defence advisory against Pfizer's hostile takeover. Evercore's healthcare team advised AZN on the sale of its anti infectives business to Pfizer. Evercore were also involved with the sale of a half share in Amylin to AZN, other connections too. So why would SNG be reaching out to Evercore?. I know one of CEO's three possible scenario's at the end of a successful trial is to partner up/licensing agreement. Bit of imagination needed here but I certainly think its possible.

trytobuylow, Chris Whitty was talking about Remdesivir tonight on Coronovirus briefing he said that to date there isnt any proof it makes any difference to death rates although it has shown to improve some patients well being. As for the oxford vaccine (ChAdOx1) its not imminent and highly unlikely they will have a fully effective vaccine for at least eighteen months. This is more likely to be a sort of booster for front line staff . outside chance by christmas but government said recently not until middle of next year. Timelines on these won't worry SNG tbh.

I think we build momentum everytime we have a spike, brings in new investors, word of mouth. Press want to be associated with good news about the virus as well as bad, just takes time. The end of the day the drug should and I think will do the talking.

We actually agree on something Trek. CEO said the same in the video they wanted to get the best possible result to avoid a grey result. Obviously any drug that suppresses virus replication is going to be a lot more effective the earlier it is administered. Unlike Jack Alliss disgraceful post last night suggesting that SNG were manipulating the trial data and that the hospital trials weren't going well, which he had no proof for! The team at SNG simply want to help people in the early stages of this virus so they dont progress onto the serious later stages and a ventilator. I actually see that as quite a noble cause myself. From a shareholder viewpoint its terrific too because it opens up the drugs possible use to anyone in the world via a local courier service and health set up for the treatment course. Massive potential, lets hope it works out.:)

Not great for the people of Devon, Hydroxychloroquine trials have been stopped in some countries for causing heart irregularities. I wouldn’t take it myself.

The derampers and people caught out of the stock and bitter, its a really poor show lads, wonder if you will be down on the drug if you catch COVID and then get offered it by your GP?. SNG001 has always been well tolerated in any trial its been in, research would tell you that. What drug being tested in hospital is working really well at the moment Jack?.
Trials in Ebola and other (filovirus), Marburg virus, and other Coronaviruses Sars Cov and Mers Cov have all suggested that Interferon is more effective in the early stages of virus replication but to a very high degree!. DYOR.
This is very positive news. The derampers should all jump in a boat and sail off with Captain Jack in search of their decency. GLA looking forward to a blue day tomorrow:)
