[Boris] despises May, and thinks he is the next Churchill. He has a self-deluding mock-romantic passion which is not rooted in realism. He is disloyal. His comedy routine has gone stale; his lack of seriousness in a serious job rankles; and he has little following among MPs. He seems to have embarked on a reckless journey into oblivion.

I try to be the dutiful number two, but have lost any respect for him. He is a clown, a self-centred ego, an embarrassing buffoon, with an untidy mind and sub-zero diplomatic judgement. He is an international stain on our reputation. He is a lonely, selfish, ill-disciplined, shambolic, shameless clot.

Like APPLE I wouldn't bet against them
They will drop if the market drops but for YEARS they have both out performed the market....especially 3i

I also prefer Investment trusts(IT's) rather than unit trusts. (either can be used in a SIPP)
Unit trusts have a much larger spread and are valued daily on the asset value of the shares they hold
While investment trusts are valued on demand so go to premiums or discounts of their asset value
BUT unit trusts have to sell some of their holdings in a market sell off. While IT's don't, as they just mark the IT price down

3I and Templeton Emerging Markets are both IT's

Sorry......I should have said "ishares" tracker funds
I haven't used funds for years so out of touch now.....
iSHARES were the original tracker finds...seems loads more have entered the market and are taking the P I S S

I would stick to the large funds with consistently good performances (relative to the sector averages)
Its a fact that most funds perform BELOW the averages
One fund I had for years and is massive (£12B) is "3i".......its doubled in price in the last year
