Seems to me you’ve likely sold or shorted and are now talking us down. That’s what repeated doom mongering usually indicates. It looks different to the posts of frustrated long holders.

Remember we have a market cap of £5m, so we’re already priced on the basis that a deal close is remote (although I don’t think it actually is)

Elric, JP, I think you’re both right. I think he mentioned smaller parcels and smaller companies. I’d did DM Ben about this a couple of weeks ago and he said they’d explain the strategy in an RNS in due course. I suspect they’ll say they don’t want to turn the whole thing over to a major at the start, getting a bad deal, and losing all control/involvement. Instead, parcel it up, get a partner or partners appropriate to one parcel or a small number of parcels, and then if we can demonstrate economic deposits in those parcels we will have a great hand in negotiations over the balance of the KSZ district. All just my opinion/guess.

(If I’m right, not sure how the IOCG target fits in as that is more of a one off)

The similarities with Olympic Dam do look rather compelling, particularly in the AMT

It’s not just a story though is it. The agreements in principle with NPC and Altona exist (and didn’t before). In fact, I would say there is relatively little “story” with this company - could possibly do with a bit more if anything

The pricing looks increasingly irrational to me. We are certainly in the best position we have ever been in, with a large JORC nickel resource and agreements in principle with large backers/funders/partner in respect of both aspects of our business

CJ, perhaps, but the $142/t price is CIF China, so if you assume we’re not paying for shipping you have to use the FOB Aus price which will be lower. One way or the other, the shipping cost will impact on the price we receive

Good post, HH. I agree that rampers and derampers don’t have much of an impact on share price on a post-by-post basis. However, if you zoom out a bit, a toxic BB can put people off and a constructive, informative BB can encourage people to buy/hold. For example, I value Max’s posts, not so much for his sheer positivity but for the fact that he knows his stuff and posts information about the company and/or the market which I would otherwise miss. Other regular posters here who would be classed as positive (not sure about rampers) are not so informative in a strict sense but they are well reasoned and I find their posts valuable in helping me continually assess my own investment case. I have less time for most of the regular negative posters, not because of the negative slant per se, but because on this board they’re generally pretty unreasoned and content-free

He can say that in an email because it’s nothing new. We’re very happy and confident about the Altona partnership… already been said in an RNS. There’s some negotiating to do with the Avonmouth landlord and we don’t yet know the outcome… already been said in an RNS. No new info there either. So anyone attaching any significance (positive or negative) to yrab’s email exchange is basically trying to gauge sentiment based on an email they haven’t read

Seems an excellent deal. Basically a low 6-figure (inc drilling) gamble on something potentially worth high 8-figures.

Also, once we launch Hanc0ck, replicating the model elsewhere will get cheaper each time we do it = higher margins
