We do have a claim but I think in this case the nature of the claim is a contractual right against the landlord, not ownership of the connection itself. It was agreed that the contractual right was informally extended so we do have rights. As I said, I think FPC are just manoeuvring for a bigger slice after the ultra successful auction (not surprising and I think unlikely to be a major concern)

Overall, seems like very good news. Obviously the partnership itself is great. There is clearly a gaggle to be had with the Avonmouth landlord but we pretty much knew that anyway (although I think up to now the suggestion has been that the haggle will only relate to the “benefits of the capacity market auction”). Not sure about the option - if the £500k is the exercise price that seems very cheap on the face of it. But I suppose that’s the price of a massive funding partnership. Overall I’d rather have 50% of a successful business than 100% of a business with no funding

Perhaps worth mentioning that I asked Ben whether visible carbonatites would be reported and although he didn’t commit to an answer the gist seemed to be probably not

I don’t agree that there will be no significant news till July. I do agree that the company is unlikely to release interim “results” from Ditau (visual inspection, XRF etc). However, we are likely to get lots of news on the KSZ between now and July, plus hopefully news on drilling the KCB

Daytrade, fair enough point but it also says “a classifier has been added to the process and the current spirals are being refurbished” (has been; are being). So I would infer that two upgrades have been commissioned of which one is complete and one pending

The place to get RNSs is the London Stock Exchange website. If you go elsewhere, you take the risk of the website administrator being unreliable. Happy to be corrected, but I’d be astonished if it’s the responsibility of individual companies to make sure their duly released RNSs are correctly duplicated by all secondary websites

User, I agree and £5k of the £25k buys was me. We know this rises fast even on quite good news. If we get very good news it should really go

I’m sure the next visit to the KSZ will include drilling the 16000S conductor. However, I don’t agree (if this is what you mean to suggest) that we should rush back there with no plan except drilling that hole. I’d rather have a full plan which makes sense in the context of everything we’re doing and which, ideally, gives us more than one opportunity for progress

I wonder whether they’re going to say that it makes sense next time they drill the KSZ to do a 1500m hole into the GRS. They were clearly very excited about both bits of Proterozoic gabbro they brought up, and the IOCG theory is extremely interesting. Just idle speculation, of course, but something like this could be material to timings
