I won’t hear a bad word about Max. He’s optimistic, knowledgeable and passionate, and devotes a good lot of time bringing relevant information to this board. Ok he’s bullish on silver and that hasn’t worked out in the past year. So what? It’s only an opinion, he’s not forcing anyone to agree

Let’s face it, provided the deal is actually happening the share price has got to at least double from here over the next 9 months, likely more if implementation goes well, likely much more if we get the HMS licence as well

A couple of comments on this:

1. Personally I can’t get all that excited about an economic assessment of something that may or may not exist. However, the purpose is to check that, if it does exist, it’s worth pursuing. So I think the exercise is worthwhile.

2. Unsurprisingly, it seems like the major obstacle to getting this into production would be the capex. On that, seems to me it would be a massive boost to find Karoo sulphide deposits above the IOCG (eg B1), since you would then obviously mine those first, and then turn to the IOCG with a lot of the mining infrastructure already in place and a decent whack of overburden already dug away. You would then have, I think, significantly reduced capex attributable to the IOCG itself. If I’m right about this, finding an economic deposit at B1 (and/or B3, B4) would represent a “double win”

Jimzi, how do you know the first payment has already come in? Apologies if I’m overlooking something obvious here, working too hard at the moment…

Interesting about putting PVC down ahead of DHEM. Seems possible it could help at KAV, although presumably if you drill with a metal casing you’d have to take the casing out before you could PVC in?

Hi all

Been working all day so only just come back to this board to find 130 posts. Never seen anything like it in 15 months invested here. To those wondering why the price hasn’t shot up today, I would suggest that’s down to a couple of factors:

- The general state of the junior miners market, which as we know is currently so low on sentiment that practically any news is sold into, whether good or bad. There will have been plenty of people looking for any rise as a chance to sell, plus people trying to trade this intra-day today.
- The recent experience, both here and at former “sister company” Ironveld, of big equity investments being announced, only to then come to nothing. I’m fairly optimistic that this time is going to be different, as this time we’ve been given a specific date for the first payment, which is in the very near future. However, if the company is smart, they will RNS the making of the first payment some time next week. When that money lands, people should then believe the news is real.

Overall, there’s no denying the news is great. We look to be turning a corner in a big way and if things go to plan this company will be unrecognisable in 6 months time

Funny old game this is. Another of my shares which I was feeling pretty gloomy about has had a couple of great RNSs this week and looks like it will be a success for me. Meanwhile, I was much more confident Corcel would do well and yet here we are with a raise at a third the price of a few months ago. Will hold and see, the assets are still great

Agreed Mike, very poor from the company. They need to explain why they’ve moved on from the previous funding arrangement and what the plan is now for positive progress

Hi Ginger, don’t think that’s brand new but rather a replay from earlier in the week. The cluster has already been the subject of an RNS. Completely agree about Ben being excited, and with good reason. In the KSZ, if we hit one massive sulphide deposit, there will be many more. 9000 square km to go at, huge geophysical anomalies. If we start hitting with the drill, it really is not going to take long for people to cotton on that we’re going to have not a mine but a mining district

I agree with Keith’s comments. I also think an 18-month chart of the share price tells a pretty clear story as follows:

- Jan to May 2021 (base state): 3p
- May 2021 to Jan 2021 (anticipation of drilling KSZ then actual drilling of KSZ): 5.5p
- Feb 2022 to April 2022 (missed target B): back to 3p
- May 2022 to July 2022 (microcap explorers widely massacred; Ditau not an obvious success): 2p

It’s frustrating but explicable. If the above analysis is right, the catalysts for improvement should be:

- market/sector improvement (50% upside to 3p)
- anticipation of imminent discovery in KSZ (further 80% upside to 5.5p)
- anticipation of imminent discovery in KCB (unknown but now that we have 100% of Kanye perhaps not too different to KSZ)

Obviously an actual discovery is a different kettle of fish and we have no historical precedent from which to make predictions. If we find a new Norilsk with a new Olympic Dam underneath it we can all retire

Hi all. I’m not an IRON holder and never have been, but I do like the look of the project and have wondered many times about investing (including at much higher prices than this). I am tempted again now since, if you drown out the noise, there does now seem to be a prospect of progress. However, I am very worried by that press release from Align. It reads as though they are embarking on / continuing some sort of war against the board. Hard to imagine that being anything other than distracting, disruptive and damaging. Not saying I think Align are wrong on the substance, but perhaps the better thing now would be to get behind the company again?

It does seem like they’ve successfully completed the turnaround and are now in a position to drive at incremental improvements. Very happy with this. Well done TB and team. I think quarterly reporting makes sense. The company should have the flexibility to (eg) have a month where they do a bit more development, without getting hammered in the market for production being slightly down. Things like that should even out over a quarter

Happy to see that B1 is modelled as being 500m x 200m. I recall that when the company did DHEM at the time they said it was “smaller” than previously modelled but they never said how much smaller. I had a nagging concern that if it was too small that would affect economics given the location etc. However, it seems they meant a bit smaller but still very large. So that’s good

Well I agree they’re ambiguous and I agree that whatever it was (if not the Kanye buyout) may come to nothing. But he won’t have been making it up

I’m not in POW but have considered it. I view it as a bit more of a generic sector play, in the sense that they have lots of projects and shareholding but (KAV aside) nothing I’m *particularly* excited about. If the sector recovers, I would expect POW to recover pretty reliably. But that’s about it for me (personal opinion). I see KAV as more of an investment in projects rather than sector. I believe in KSZ and KCB very strongly and think there is real potential for life changing growth. In principle there is probably more downside risk here too, although hopefully not from this MCap
