@Wolfy, people have reported "fake cities" in China for over a decade, but they kept getting people moving into them and 300M more to move into their middle class by 2030. Key ingredient is Iron Ore.

So now you think they will stop building and let their people live in poverty?!

Debt will get restructured. Plus China have earmarked $1.1 Trillion Infrastructure stimulus and have yet to use it.

The most important thing the Chinese govt seeks to deliver is economic growth and raising the living standards of the population. That’s how they justify their right to remain in power.

If they start to see economic growth is under threat (not hitting 5% GDP growth target), they always reopen the stimulus taps, which leads to strong steel & iron ore demand.

It’s all about social harmony.

Also UFO is not just about Iron Ore.

@Wolfy, China have got 30% of their country still to build and are adding 300M people to their middle class by 2030 (similar population to USA). Then add India etc. Can't use chocolate instead of Iron Ore and there has been a decade of underinvestment.

They all have a very long way to go to catch up to the west standard of living.

Why should they not live like the west?

since ioca need to provide anglo american the base case financial model for the off-take funding deal to be signed:

hopefully not too long until anglo deal signed.

also i do like the last sentence:

all major costs finalised and priced. anything else, they would have budgeted for in the $60/t fob price and would be insignificant amounts when we have a mining rate of 1.25mtpa.

As we wait for the next RNSs, the article below states that Alien Metals is the optionee on their legacy Lithium projects in Zacatecas:

"In Mexico, Chinese companies are present in three projects, two in the early stages and one in the pre-production phase. The most important project is Ganfeng Lithium’s Bacanora project located in Bacadehuachi, Sonora, which is in the pre-production phase. The other two projects, both at the early stages, are Pozo Hondo in Zacatecas, in which Alien Metals is the optionee, and Salar del Diablo in Baja California, in which a private owner has 100% of the project’s interest."

@yayay. UFO actually applied for Native Title agreement last year.

However, it has become evident KNAC delayed until the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 came into effect 1st July 2023 so they can get better terms. Why wouldn't they.

Now the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act fully repealed.

Also good news that ReGroup partner with Maramara. It's a majority indigenous-owned company that provide mining and civil construction services and employment opportunities to local Indigenous people.
