I do kind of think being open minded about CC is a bit like being open minded as to whether the earth is flat.........It doesn't matter if there are some natural (non-human)causes are contributing to it, the fact is that a 2-3% rise from here will leave large parts of the earth uninhabitable because of (a) sea flooding, or (b) drought. The only way we can fight against it is to lower greenhouse gases, one of which is Carbon . I think sitting around arguing about all the underlying causes is missing the point.
Anyway, I'm betting on UK financials heavily at the moment , across L&G, M&G, Aviva, LLoyds, Barclays and IG - probably around 25% of my UK equity portfolio. I also have a holding in KR1 which was actually an idea I got from you even though you had sold! I'm up about 50% on that one, so I owe you one m8!

For me, the following facts are pertinent:
- Blockchain technology is going to be a critical part of IT infrastructure/web-based trading for the next decade or more
- Whilst I have an intuitive understanding of the technology, I will never understand its detail
- There are thousands and thousands of cryptos out there, and I have no idea which will be truly successful, but I do believe that it will only be a small number ultimately due to scale/acceptance
- On this basis, I do not want to invest directly in things I don't fully understand and cannot value
- What I want is an expert who is building a diversified exposure to the blockchain opportunity, and will broadly win from BC being successful as a whole (which I am convinced of).
- For me, KR1 fits this bill exactly, and hence I am a happy long term holder.

Not sure we need to keep posting articles telling us things that we already know HKK? Looks like we might breach 400 again today, so well done to all who bought more into weakness yesterday!

The stock's on a PE of c30x 2022 earnings, whilst they've acquired IPM at 7x sales - hardly the deal of the century. I'm up over 100% on my purchases now so I've let some go at 294p this afternoon.

Same as the Bloomberg article. Seems obvious to me that other managers might be looking at M&G given its valuation, but the fact that a plausible buyer considered and then rejected it is an odd reason for going up. Still, I do think it's undervalued, so who cares what drives it up, eh....? :-)

Nasty little dip right at the end there (presumably driven by a weaker Nasdaq). Could be time to add more tomorrow!

Hehe - couldn't resist! I think your strategy is a good one, and indeed is the one I was also following. However, having bought at 320p when it dipped last week the 'fall and I'll buy more bit' has become somewhat redundant!

Remember that this stock does not trade on the LSE, but on the alternative AQUIS exchange. This means that fewer providers will have direct access to a price feed, and instead may rely on whether the MMs they use are prepared to quote. It is possible that some days they do, and some days they don't, hence no price, and no ability to trade! I use XO, and whilst they show a bid/offer most days, you are not able to just trade on this, but instead have to submit an order with a price limit for the broker to work.

Avenir - As I've said before, not sure this stock is a great punt for novices. I love the company, but I readily admit there's plenty of risk here and I have sized my position accordingly.
