Badshah13. Not true. The last joint broker (SVS) played no part in any placing, since they went into Admin a month or so after being appointed. Novum were appointed to replace Beaufort, who had also been struck off.
You may be excused in thinking that there's a connection between appointing brokers and share issues, but if you look carefully, the share issues happen all the time, whether or not we have a new broker.
So I expect news or more fundraising before the end of the year.

ValJu - a very likely scenario. at 2017 prices 55% share worth £2.6m - but I reckon with a deal, could fetch double. This equates to 0.5p a share so at present that would give us 201 and the rest for nothing.

But I remember when I held both years back (the 0.2p) days and compared the two SPs. Then VAL had their 125 consolidation to make their 0.2p worth 25p. So in fact now when the SPs are similar again, remember SAR didn't consolidate.

year1970 - I agree with your last post. Its almost 2 years since the 401 data was published, but I was getting hopeful that the talked about deal might actually materialise.
The SP is currently way below even the 2017 projected value of 401 because no-one believes the BOD any more. A decent RNS would sort that out a bit.

year1970 - I was going on the fact that in a presentation they were saying they wanted to raise a £1m investment pre-float of Valiseek (which clearly never happened) which would be worth 17% of the new total equity. 17% = £1m - so 100%(new) = £5.9m. Hence 100% (old) = £4.9m.
Maybe this was a gross and hopeful estimate - I didn't think so at the time.
Val's share would then be worth £2.7m - which clearly makes the current mcap of Val absurd. There must be a strong argument for them cashing in 401 if they can.

year1970 - Nov 2017 valiseek worth around £5m. IF we have an interested party to invest big money - then easily now worth £10m. If we don't, then even £5m is too generous.

I suspect the mcap of Valiseek to be only around £10-12m. If they can do another JV by selling off the Val stake of 55.5% then this might solve two problems - how to finance 401, and how to get Valirx solvent to progress 201 etc. Valirix may be very grateful for a £6m injection - there may be no other way of getting funds at present. At least it would raise the sp, perhaps even to 1p

My estimate of the cash position on 30 Sep is as follows:
£171k (june) + £423k (tax credit) - £500k (est of 3 months operating) = £94k

Incidentally there's an error in the report - The £1.226m in post period highlights is in the accounts already - ie not post-period. Disgraceful.

Hello Oil_Beast. I was not thinking that NS has any knowledge of a placing - he has just taken the opportunity to make a small profit on his most recent purchase.
I now feel that a cash raise (in which NS is likely to be invited to take part) is much more likely before the full results of 201 are published, or indeed that the full results for 201 may simply point to the need for more costly PI/II trials to sort out the complex relationship of PSA to dosage etc.
I wonder if NS feels the same?
The RNS doesn't really say anything new - Efficacy was never part of the endpoints of the trial, and no hard facts have been released in it.

I am worried by the fact that Valirx found it necessary to half report the progress of the current trial. I suspect they need new money before the full results will be ready, and today's release gives NS and others the opportunity to sell and buy back cheaper in the next placing.

Notice clearly they have not given any numerical or other hard evidence of the effectiveness of 201, and I suspect that it may be proving difficult to present the results in a compelling statistical way. Notice that phrase about a complex relationship between dose and PSA reduction. I am not surprised the SP has stagnated today.

So he's sold 30m today - I suspect that his trade has not been reported yet.

The point I was trying to make is simply - on past actions we can expect a cash raise within around 6 months - ie the turn of the year.
I was partly making it to counter an earlier suggestion that a cash call was coming in a matter of weeks or days.

If you use the cash balances instead of the losses incurred, you can stretch the projected cash for another month.
And if you get anywhere near running out of cash (eg as VAL have) you have a horrendous situation.

I should just add that the 6 months I calculated is from June not now.
