Maybe but it’s still undervalued based on the assets even if the deal doesn’t happen. It’s less than JP Morgan paid and they bought in before any deal was even mentioned. I’ve increased my holding x5 today. :)

THis year I mean, not next year! By the time they need more funding PFS will have been completed and a bunch of drilling, any placings should be at a much higher price anyway.

They already funded for most of next year. I heard a lot of concerns about dilution but with the expensive surveys and testing already complete and the drill rigs they had been building for a while a lot of the expensive stuff was done and diluted minimally a while back before I was invested, we can sit back and await the drill results on targets which have been refined, that’s where the real money is to be made. Feel like I got onboard this at the right time.

I think they just busy working on the PFS. We had webinars none stop last year when there wasn’t any news so the silence can only be seen as a good thing and we know they are busy. News Thursday hopefully. Imagine if PFS and 4 potential tier one drill updates all happen at once. I think regional updates first though so they are included in the broker updates. Lots of potential for little downside. Already seen what porv did to the price imagine what Rio target will do.

Yes your probably right but might find out sooner than that. Didn’t one of the DGR updates say the PFS would be in January? We should see all valuations updated after that and with the amount of analysts covering this that’s a huge amount of news in its own right. Should also get news on the other sites before the PFS. Likely toward end of January is my prediction for a re-rate. Many traders will be caught off guard expecting February and many will sell after pfs without awaiting the mass of news but I will be holding on for the ride :)

Yes they probably will, they want the company not an investment and the amount they would gain through the options is negligible.

It’s all about the takeover defence to get a better deal but nicks abit to good at it. The Franco deal gives solg the upper hand which is why the large investors are annoyed because they just wanted higher % of the company. There are many avenues for finance which is why I’m not really concerned about that. They will regret the %1 NSR once the extent of cascabel is revealed but at least it means Franco definitely will put up more cash for production if needs be.

BHP would rather wait to take the options as it means solg will need money sooner and they can get a larger %.

Regarding employee options In 2020 Nick purchased £250k~ solg but over A$2m~ In DGR which assuming was for its % in solg. Worth noting the largest purchase was 2nd of November when solg was around the price it is now.

Usually see this large amount of director buying when a re-rate or takeover is coming. Also worth noting a lot of director buying in CGP recently.

Nick doesn’t need to thank us, the whole vote came about because of the Franco deal which was best for the private investors. I think he probably does read the board occasionally because let’s face it you would, even if you were busy.

I hope he doesn’t tho because some of the rude things said about him and all the general racism and stuff on hear over the past year would make any director more likely to do a dodgy deal. Pretty sure most aren't even invested hear.

Perhaps some resistance due to old broker valuation. I think brokers will update the valuation now a deal has been agreed. At the current market cap the expected 50m plus 22.5% of PT WIN with a combined value of US$163.4mln would mean that the PT WIN shares would need to go to a value of less than 30m~ to make a loss, it would need to reduce by many multiples of the IPO price to make a loss. Not only that but I think PT win will increase because they are sorting out the financing which is a huge milestone toward mining. AND the 20% of ARS they are buying should also increase which will benefit us from our holding in them. It’s a total win win for all (unless I’m missing something?) Merry Christmas all!

I bought in hear today at a nice little discount thanks to those that sold on news. A takeover bid usually re-rates to the offer price so I’m surprised it’s not higher with an offer equating to double the market cap for part of the company assets. The deal should provide funding for other projects as well as the financing for BKM which we will benefit from once we receive the shares. All of this as separate news would have been fantastic but all in one go is amazing.

Yea you get the point though. Maybe I will invest in some English lessons next. Although there will be many essays written about this as it will go down in history. :)

The essays everyone is talking about intentionally go outside the target area in order to test the extent. Twitter shows rig two has recently gone into place which should give the best result. They probably won’t release the other essays until then as they aren’t expected to be as good and could be worse for the share price if people don’t understand that.

If porvenir is bigger than alpala and Rio comes up good we could be looking at 100 million oz free to mine gold plus huge amounts of copper.

I don’t mind getting diluted for exploration because the exploration cost is under $2 per ounce and will probably reduced further. I see this is a real win win.

I believe Franco think theres more at cascabel, hence why they put the NSR on cascabel and not alpala. They will have had access to all the information for the financing deal.

SOLG already have enough concessions. Shouldn’t impact on existing operations, nick already said he wants a state of the art mine which also means environmentally friendly and they will spend money increasing biodiversity in other areas.

They already said referendums will only be held for new tenements. SOLG already have the best tenamens. It just makes us more of a target if the larger companies want a piece of Ecuador.

Some people on hear have got things the wrong way round. A Biden win would be the best thing for gold price but not other markets. Just look at what happened to gold last time trump won. Cheaper usd dollar would also mean reduced costs for solg and higher value in £’s.

Although I think trump will win.
