Yea it’s Australia, director has literally been telling people to fill there boots like they did when GGP was massively undervalued. It’s not uncommon for directors to mislead but when they are basically telling you you’d be crazy not to buy it’s usually a good sign! They have a very predictable share price but expect it will break out after going back to 4c.

Just checked out Atalaya Mining PLC, not the usual aim scam can tell just from the market cap. Lacking recent director buying though I will add to watch list.

Haven’t looked into that one personally but a lot of the old AIM scams have been re starting old copper mines. At least WRES actually built something and you can at least see where most of the money went.

All the money I lost hear was profit from another company I’ve been trading. Which is antipa minerals they will be releasing MRE soon and worth checking out. Good for a trade and long term I’ve been in since GGP havieron which I sold way to early and missed out on the big money. They are on the ASX but easy to buy with IG.

That’s the thing with these high risk companies at make or break. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t but when it does it can make up for losses.

Troajan mainly posts links and nobody really invests in what anyone posts and the whole do your own research thing seems to obvious to even post. If information in the links is wrong then blame them and miscalculations etc I’ve done it myself a posted but they made money anyway. If someone tried to blame me for them losing money I’d just laugh.

The only way I can see things turning around now is if the military send advisors in and literally make things work. Given the current situation and the importance of tungsten it’s not impossible.

I like to bash vast resources and I have an agenda to ensure management don’t make even more than they already have. I never bash the posters though and I cba bashing this company because I feel management did try.

I like to read Troajans posts and agree people are just bullying him hear. I’m no longer invested hear but it did have a point where i genuinely believed they could have turned it around and he wasn’t wrong for having hope.

Even losing money hear I didn’t feel like this company was an outright scam like vast resources.

Also I’m not convinced that stockpiling ore will actually suitably dry it and a silo will probably make it worse. Anyway that’s it from me, I’m out.

They’ve been saying we will be accessing or just starting to access the higher grade ore in almost every production update I’ve read. I’m starting to wonder if it’s below the water table of the nearby lake / reservoir meaning they have to dewater a large portion of the lake as apposed to just the mine site.

Yea that’s exactly what I did, I bought in when production was increasing accepted Q4 would be bad when they said forecast would be lower but thought they’d be back on track in Q1 particularly with the director buying so I held. But for me it’s now a sell. Only after seeing the increased LNG prices and other issues now I don’t see how they will get back on track. Feel sorry for any long term holders as looking back at the information it’s always looked like a pretty good investment and just glad I didn’t know about this stock back then.

425% price increase in LNG Is my concern and they don’t even say when they will be setting up better mains supply. They’ve mentioned several power outages caused by the LNG generator in previous RNS this should have been done along time ago but sounds like it’s not even scheduled or assigned to contractors yet.

My guess is the debt provider they’ve been talking to to was really to pay off interest in existing debt as black rock won’t take anymore warrants. I don’t think they could have sorted out a debt provider for all these new problems already.

Real reason for the mine closing could be they can’t afford the next shipment of LNG but at least they will save money closing it while they try and sort things out…

They are a stockbroker, they don’t really have sway on the company as the shares are owned by individuals through them and so any voting is down to individuals. Same as most of the other major shareholders Vast lists on its website. Most legitimate companies don’t list the stockbrokers as major shareholders because they aren’t.

This would be pretty decent for an explorer but right next to a 100% owned producing mine makes it 100x better.

Production could be better than expected if the water issues are sorted and they are now accessing the higher grade ore as they say, this along with generator issues sorted as well as the last lot of improvement to the plant. Quite a lot was holding it back even when they went to 24h but many issues resolved so hopefully we will soon see what this plant can really do.

Something good is on way, I’ve never seen such large director buys on a small cap like this. No news is not bad news if the directors are loading up.

The safety concerns could be why they can’t get asset backed finance because the mine might actually end up permanently closed anyway with maintenance fees. So much for NPV, I put negative value on BP and Zimbabwe assets (if they actually have any). People made stories of atlas and AP getting control of BP when vast can’t pay but I don’t think there want it.

I think they made it pretty clear it’s not going to be good news. When they talk of reaching a deal now it’s not going to be a good one.

And the last Information at BP gave just about every possible excuse they could have with the geotechnical issues actually being quite a serious safety concern:

‘The AIM-listed company announced in October that its plans for higher production volumes at Baita Plai had been delayed as a result of labour shortages, geo-technical challenges, supply chain issues and Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention measures.’

And the RNS mentions the company is known to them? I wonder if they’ve been inquiring with HUM about something.. takeover/acquisition talks maybe? Or do they have previous history?

What deal? The one with the company which isn’t even formed legally? With concessions they can’t legally own? Do you know what the news was they didn’t want you to know yet?? because the publicly available information is already pretty bad and it’s obviously something worse. Do you think it’s good news? The only deal will probably be vast agreeing to settling fines for whatever it’s been up to.. but they can’t even afford that.

And let’s not forget we aren’t even funding it through to DFS and will pay 51% of the CAPEX... if it’s not bought out of course!

At least it’s not insulate Britain or the British government. The Mali government will shoot them like they did last time they got in the way. I don’t think they should have suspended mining though just increased security and maybe offer temporary accommodation on site like a lot of mines already do and then fly the gold out. It’s not targeted at the company that’s for sure. I watched a program where they make road blocks in similar countries and then charge a fee for people to pass usually not involving any violence.
