George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine. Watch the full video here.
Thanks for that snippet, Fjetcrazy. Nice to see a bit of good news creeping in at this festive season.
I`m not quite following this discussion! Apart from having a different problem with the map graphic which, IMO, is perfectly acceptable being both simple and clear but almost illegible by being reproduced far too small (see my post of 6 Nov 17). My beef is with the whole website - so awful that I`m wondering if I`m in a minority as a Mac-user since there have been no similar complaints? I wish I could publish a screenshot to show you all what I’m seeing when I click on either of the two main tabs, `Plan Your Trip` and `How to Book and Pay`. Both are a complete mess, the yellow solid panels so out of register with the black that the latter is largely obliterated. How can our agency responsible not have noticed such a disaster? And while I`m about it! and meaning no insult to our native subscribers, especially since it took me several seconds to sort it first and second time around, it is not at all apparent when accessing the Home Page, where to click on next to progress further into the site - unless you actually do want to make a booking. What an unnecessarily vague tab is “Information Central”. And what is the point of the adjacent tab `English` when there is no alternative language from which to choose? When is fastjet (or its agents) going to get everything right for once?
I see from my last post that the en dash also gets corrupted, from a `long hyphen` to the pound sign. So (and I`m testing here!) the apostrophe comes out like this while the double quotes like this
JT16 [14:34]: Regrettably I have been out all day since before lunch, hence this very late response to your post which demands a response. I admit I was possibly wrong criticising Fjetcrazy for using an acronym which I just found irritating but that was between him and me and, hopefully, we have sorted it out reasonably amicably. I shall learn to get used to it! Only you and one or two others maybe would accuse me of dictating just by expressing my honest thoughts. But glad it makes you laugh! Come to think of it, there is no point in even trying to defend myself to you since you are one of those who just relies on gross exaggeration if not lies, by describing ``every one of my posts [being] littered with typos``. Yes I do miss a few now and again and no-one is more annoyed than me by the system faults that are creeping in and seem unavoidable enough in themselves to prevent me from posting much more! At least you seem to recognise them for what they are. Fjetcrazy also suffers from the apostrophe glitch which turns into a pound sign. But far worse is the corruption of the double quotes, though not always I now note. Fine in my post of 22:56 last night, but complete with gremlins next time at 12:35 yesterday, appearing, as you correctly requoted, as 1 I hope LSE will get them sorted out soon if they are able to. Meanwhile, if I can remember, I shall resort to using the grave accent as a poor substitute!
fatherelmer: I heartily endorse every word in your second paragraph. But I`m really surprised to see your dig in the first. I had no idea anyone else felt the same about my personal efforts at a meaningful contribution in the form of analysing what you oversimplify as the pagination content of the in-flight magazine. I was used to it being used as a means of taunting me by the thankfully long-banned Steve Gurr, or Beretta by which he was last known, and his equally objectionable mate, Ian Pegg, or Bedpug. You may have noticed that I have abandoned the practice since the hiatus between the switch from TravelSmart to Places. I didnt spend the time it took just to announce the page count but to use the analysis of its advertising content as a very basic indicator of the airline`s progress, shown by the support of businesses both large and small. I acknowledge my expertise in any other relevant area other than advertising is severely limited.
Not much-hated Fjetcrazy, only by me! :-) But youre worth it!
Thank you, Farurggia1967; nice to hear from you whenever it takes your fancy. I have nothing to contribute either! But glad you enjoy the banter. [Totally off-topic on THIS board but a quick thank you for your tip of last August which , of course, I followed up and now showing a profit of 24%. A mere trifle from what we can expect though, eh?! Though posters on that Board seem to have very mixed feelings.]
PJMInvest: You are amongst several ongoing regular contributors to this Board alongside many others appearing less frequently, all of whom provide plenty of evidence to disprove buxton1s gross exaggeration that just one individual is responsible for the Boards existence. And, yes, yours stand out as individually meaningful contributions. Having said that, I think there is room for a bit of lighthearted badinage, especially while fastjets newsfeed remains so moribund. I can promise posters that youll hear a lot less from me when the company provides much more activity to provoke posts of a more informative and on-topic calibre. 2018 should see that development at last.
No-one doubts that for a minute, buxton1, as I have oft remarked on too. Though if you care to check, I'm not far behind him with 2539 posts! I just hate the ugly abbreviation "canx" that was all. I don't really expect to convert him! Thankfully, (if I'm right,) Fjetcrazy's sense of humour is a lot better than yours by up-ticking my post. I'm not sure why shylock has deserted us for so long now probably because of unfriendly posts like yours. Admittedly, like you, he lacked a good sense-of-humour but he consistently posted intelligent and informative posts, and always on-topic.
No problem, Fjex
Seriously off-topic! Fjetcrazy: Pleeease drop that godawful, ugly abbreviation "canx", will you. Just for me! Thank you so much. Marksman
https://www.musicinafrica.net/magazine/zim-tukus-new-aids-awareness-video Well a very good cause and all that and I do see our 145 making several appearances plus an end-credit to the company. A controversial view no doubt but shouldnt we wait at least until were showing a profit before we start dishing out dosh we havent got for such noble aims?
You must check out a new issue every hour to have spotted that, PJMI! As you know, they have been sticklers for publishing on the first of the month. I wonder why this sudden change. Must be the change-over finally settled down to a more flexible routine.
Very encouraging to see frequent bursts of good news from our regular band of active observers. Thank you, guys. One day soon, hopefully, we'll KNOW we've turned the corner.
If anybody's puzzled by the addition of "128578;" in my post, that was meant to have been a 'smiley' emoji! Obviously not acceptable on this site.
Absolutely agree with your opinion, Carbonix. Marksman - lifelong graphic designer! 🙂
I wonder how long that will last? Hopefully, the political situation will escalate no further and we may continue unimpeded. Meanwhile, all credit to the company for not feeling intimidated.
You just might learn how different Africa is if you took a job in their Customer Sales and Services department for a week or two - if you could last that long!
That`s the sort of post we like to see [19:42], with our CEO delivering a short speech, and an inaugural flight complete with a water cannon salute.
Your wish is their command! Though probably not what what you wanted. http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=FJET&share=fastjet
