Hi Fred, I’ve read your comments for some time now and you are absolutely right to have your concerns. I just think it’s too early to judge the M.D’s performance at this juncture. In 6 to 12 months time if nothing has changed then who knows I might even agree with you but at the moment I can see very good progress being made and the potential for a very successful company.

Cheers Acechaser, the only guess I could come up with was connected to tailings ponds and if they had noticed that certain types of vegetation grew by them influenced by any remedial minerals. Sometimes even in this era of technology there’s a lot to be said for local and historical knowledge.

I just posted the link because I thought it showed that Newmont/Newcrest are well prepared and eager to move forward with the vote ASAP and also ( as you would expect) a lot of effort has already been put in to move rapidly on future decisions.

Culpepper I don’t know if you were around this forum or even invested in GGP during the early days of drilling at Havieron.

Many still here were and I’m sure like myself many got a lot of very, very useful information from a certain poster.

I’ve always hoped if we were to try and buy Telfer & 70% of Hav. we might be able to cover a good percentage of the costs with a royalty payment.

I used to work for a large construction company and they on a number of occasions took over other companies maintenance contracts at large industrial complexes, e.g.oil refineries and like StellaBob says all non contract staff get transferred over under a TUPE agreement and it just requires overseeing and implementing any changes required. Other than that and change of logos etc. life pretty much carries on as before. We might just need to add some more administration and HR staff etc.

Take a look at the experience and previous positions of all staff, not just the board, at GGP and I think there is definitely all the necessary requirements catered for.
