Vampa, It's not an outlandish view at all and based on this shares long term history "Buy on rumour sell on news" has always worked.
However, In my opinion, we could now be past that phase. It also really depends on each investors timescale because it could be a big risk to sell on FID and watch the price drift up further looking towards the next piece of news and inevitable (at that point) flowing of oil from SL. You could end up either buying higher or not getting back in at all.
Personally I have my target price set and will be selling there - it won't be based on any specific news event or timing.
