It is only ANOTHER small bump on the long road that is Rockhopper. After 15 years nothing phases me anymore, the faith is there we will be 150+ at first oil or even more depending on events. We are closer than ever before and losing 25% in a week means nothing to me.

SpaceHoppa - Your view point makes sense to me even though I disagree with you but as a long term holder I don't understand why you wouldn't want cheap 53p open offer shares. Dilution is a factor 100% and I agree with that, but having absolute certainty for the future because the company has cash in the bank is what makes any company function. It enables you to be agile in a potentially difficult market.

The only piece of info we don't have yet is the amount of Open Offer shares we will be able to buy. That has only been speculated by all of us on the board so far. I might start to get angry if its less than 40:1 ;D

The UK foreign office does not have any "sign off" as a part of foreign policy over the FI. You are making that up unless it is stated by HMG.

I would love for you to provide any evidence for this power the UK gov has over the FIG when it has been clearly stated repeatedly they do not.

AI LLM's are not meant to be used for serious unbiased reasearch. They are biased to their input commands. We don't need to see AI responses on a chat forum please.

I think we will continue to see small incremental rises as the dominoes fall. Sunday should be a formality so will maybe only see us in to the early 90s. RKH meeting next to rubber stamp the financing and open offer may take us to mid/late 90s. Any positive news from FIG keeps us ticking up over 100 and fid gets us to 110+.

That's my low estimates.

The UK Gov has repeatedly stated that the FIG is self governing. I don't see how that is not making any comments about it.

No they cannot stop the FIG from exploiting their natural resources and have stated as much many times. The Falkand Islands is self governing.

The only "say" they had in the past was about funding the project, which they didn't want to do in the end.

We have the funding from elsewhere now. The UK gov has no say.

This MM is aggressive on the buy today. They must have a client accumulating.
