Seeingyou, I'm fine if SEE goes for 20p in a competitive auction. However, I'm not fine if it goes for 20p as the result of a deal that has been cooked up to benefit staff before shareholders. At the meeting in London Ken made it clear he saw his duty to stakeholders in this order: 1) Staff 2) Customers/Partners 3) Shareholders. Seeingyou, It's no conspiracy theory. Target price from Cenkos is nonsense as attested to by Lorne Daniel. Subaru haven't been won by competitor. Cenkos have probably been brought in to rubber stamp a takeover on the cheap (If I'm wrong I'll apologise later this year.) Any genuinely independent broker would have upgraded on the huge BMW win as it is a game changer. If it's quiet it's because SEE is clearly holding back news. Why are you so determined to stick up for Cenkos when it is blindingly obvious us private investors are being mugged off?

Doesn't it strike anyone else as odd that 2 upstanding house brokers are unwilling to upgrade Seeing Machines' target price, despite it having won a huge premium German auto OEM? They've not even issued a flash note to say: 'well done'. Anyone would think they are trying to manage our expectations.

Lewbo, I agree. But they haven't. No flash note, nothing so far as I am aware. Unbelievable. Well, fortunately for us, auto industry and many fund managers must now be aware that SEE 'owns' auto DMS.

It is good to be wary of conspiracy theories generally but it appears share price is deliberately being held back by a seller. GB2 did mention 300m shares were unaccounted for. I think the final proof of this will be if Cenkos and Canaccord Genuity don't issue notes with upgrades today.

Crowbar, I agree. The blindfold has been lifted from my eyes by the trunk of GB2's Nelly the elephant. Thinking back, there have been other RNS' that could have been vetted by SmartEye for the way they effectively promoted the company. The Mercedes RNS (besides taking months to appear) didn't even mention the figure of the contract in the headline and then downplayed it somewhat in the text and seemed to hide more than it revealed. We also got multiple ones about Mike leaving - what was the point of that...lol. Over the past 8 months we've had a tremendously successful strategic comms campaign to keep the price below 7p. At first, I put it down to inexperience, then incompetence but finally I've come to the conclusion it is deliberate.

Still, as the company hasn't revealed anything re. the value of the contract, it seems a bit early to be dismissing the long term value of the contract from the only source that even revealed there is such a contract with BMW. If it's as good as we hope BMW will likely be putting it into all its vehicles as soon as it can - admittedly, on a rolling basis. For others who haven't read the piece. This is what we are talking about: "From discussions with auto industry contacts, I believe the contract is for many forthcoming models (several million cars) and the DMS is likely to eventually end up being standard issue within the instrument cluster of all BMW cars. Given that BMW sells roughly 2.3m cars a year and that Seeing Machines would get approximately US$30 a car, that makes a potential annual income of US$57m a year by 2020, rounded down to US$50m. Given that in the auto industry the lifetime of a model lasts for roughly 5 years, the lifetime value of this contract should be at least US$125m, though it could be as much as US$250m. When this news is officially announced I�d expect broker upgrades to be the order of the day. FinnCap currently has an estimate for full year revenues of A$141m for 2020 and Canaccord Genuity has an estimate of A$128.5m � of which only A$24m is from auto!" A more interesting questions is: "Why is the company content to see the price drop, when providing contract news would see it rise substantially?" Look at the wording of the last paragraph in the RNS: "This opportunity forms a part of Seeing Machines' current potential sales pipeline, and if won, would not materially change management's overall expectations in relation to likely financial performance of the business in the coming years. At this time there can be no certainty that this sales opportunity will result in a sales contract for the Company. A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate." It would materially change expectations from 2020 onwards, though. And the last 2 sentences are not completely accurate, I feel.
