A little concerned now that the importance and urgency of issuing an LP for oil production is slipping down the list of priorities if there is fire fighting happening to sort the immediate crisis.

We are agreed on that totally. I do not like the renewed repetition / ramping either. But I do appreciate the subtle shifts from the updates posted from latest debates and events in MG when they happen.

Some people use language differently but I would rather have some intel amongst some froth than silence.

Barbed and aggressive insulting comments from some help no one and it seems very few people actually have anything tangible or interesting to say about real events of news updates and their posts bring little worth and show a level of character.

This seems unnecessary and bad manners to me.

I thought this was a board for information sharing so any news from the field is worth reading and understanding as an investor.

I am unsure why traders are so hostile to his forum for delivering such information or any updates.

Insightful. Someone is dragging their feet and they have to release this log jam. Good that the DP are putting pressure on the MMHI to get themselves sorted or resign.

Let's hope this includes the issuing of the Special.Permit status to Heron and all other new or existing prospecting blocks offered for drilling. Any prospecting block without a permit is valueless.

Who exactly is that one person? Is this the regional council leader who is blocking and obstructing everything? Can they now take their own legal battles to this person and internally prosecute him?

You are right to point out the importance of this all and it is good to see the parliament weaponise the current fuel crisis to get the required changes to legislation and the LP through their courts.

I wonder if they will now just marginalise the local governor and issue the LP and make this an internal dispute in their courts. Let them battle and sort it out between themselves.

MB is quite right to stay out of this one as it is a country defining event that needs to be ratified within their parliament and not pushed through by a legal case brought by a Western backed company.

Frankly if the RNS doesn't come this week, I would rather it come early on 2024 when the traders have returned to the market in force.

I would hate to have the hopefully pending goods news fall to an empty theatre.

My concern, Ibiza, is that MB has nothing to say other than nothing is happening. Everytime he does an interview or RNS stating "frustration about the delays", it only crashes the SP.

I would rather, and I am sure he would rather not rock the boat and stay silent until there is something solid to say that is progressive and useful to the company and SP with the LP or new blocks announced.

I would imagine that new block news is worthless unless they are awarded with LP attached.

So hopefully, when it comes, the RNS will have real worth and huge big impact on the SP.

Anything else would be another demoralizing mess.

I will not defend WOS' style of posts which did continually repeat the same points tme after time. What I will defend is his input on the information that he gleaned from the ground with government statements and oil shortages and the politics. That was insightful to me and gave me a sense of what was bubbling underneath. A useful trickle of information and which I valued.

I do hope this trickle can continue from whichever user name or source in a focused way to improve knowledge and understanding in this slow process.

I hope that members of this board can see the general sense in this and temper their interactions accordingly.

Whilst Mongolia freezes over, the moves in the local and national legislative system is gliding gently towards the LP's being granted for oil extraction.

Imminent, close and not too far away, it is coming. Will this be the day or the week or the month, let's see.

Heron will be pumping revenue soon enough, with much more to come.

Let's hope it is this week and the silence of MATD without any stupid RNS releases that state nothing, is good news and means that MB and the team are now very, very close.

It is amazing that there is no news from the meeting re MATD. That seems odd.

Holding back the news for an official RNS???

I also don't mind MATd doing a raise if it is after the RNS and other blocks and projects announced and the SP is up over 35p.

Can anyone shed light on what was discussed in relation to MATD at the big meeting. I see that last post stated at 4am the meeting was still going and Petro China had been discussed.
