News - ADW. Small or big - but news.

Small news would be agreement for income with export lisense, pumping increase from H1 and a small roll out for Heron. Should be worth 3 or 4p per share increase. This could be stymied with a raise - but I don't think a raise is coming - yet!

Medium news would be funding via Loan with Govt guarantee or JV for Heron, The other new block being awarded. Favourable payment / commercial terms for rapid drilling to hit 20 or 30 wells this season. SP up to 10p on this.

Top end news would be huge Sunsteppe deal on top of everything else. Announcement of massive contracts. Big fundings available through Japan and Arab state wealth fund support. Push it up to 15p for now.

That is what I think will be happening. Even with a raise, the SP will go up as more income flows in and more wells are sunk.

This is all IMO - but I feel quite bullish. This will go one way or the other. Even a sale would drop money ontot he SP - though I would rather the board found ways to fund this for future income to share holders.

I agree, a lot of movement based on gut reaction and theory but also mixed with some solid, relatively new facts.

We will see how this flies - but fly it will. To what heights? We awaint the RNS and AGM to find out - IMO!

WOS has used his rockets. Only two and not quite the star fleet I was hoping for - but the rockets have been used.

This all goes down to extraction rates and at what cost.

Assuming 20,000 bpd for the refinery - circa $290 million a year margin with price of crude at $70 price per barrel with $40 per barrel clear margin after costs. A company profit of say $250 million or £200 million. A dividend of 10 p per share. A share price of £1 easy!

That is without the other routes to market and the renewables.

Huge but totally within the company's grasp. We will see.

This all depends on the access and ability to develop within as many favourable loans or JV or friendly terms of payment. How much of the revenue can be kept for the company. Can MB live up to his suggestions that MATD can have operational activities with low cost finance and supplier favourable terms as he has suggested in the past. Fact or fiction? The AGM will tell all.

Abzzba - my sense is as follows:

5 p after the AGM.

12 p by end of August

30p at year end

£1 by the end of 2027.

This depends on what the funding and expansion looks like. Obviously - IF they do a JV for Heron as looks a strong possibility, then perhaps the 2027 figure could and probably would be lower at about 66p per share.

That is my GUT feeling. Lets see. The race is about to begin - at last!!!

To add, Stockmaiden, and in line with your last post, you have hit the nail on the head.

The SP is junk status with a company value of £19 million.

If a JV deal with PC is at 80:20 against MATD, then even that would raise the sp by a multiplying factor at least.

This is a win win at this level, regardless of the deal that is struck.

Let's see how cunning and clever MB is at getting the partners in and keeping the equity, or as much of it for the company investors as possible.

Exciting times for sure.

We will remember your words, Stockmaiden, in the next few months and remind ourselves just how oddly daft this period of posts is.

This also reminds me of the huge amounts of odd posts that happened during Covid, when people were locked up and bored and filled with anxiety and conspiracy theories.

I think once the function of MATD begins in earnest as an oil producer with income and implemented strategic advancement, we will be laughing at these exchanges of opinion and level of spiked remarks.

In my book along with my gut feeling, there won't be a raise at this time.

They would have to discount the SP to say 1p per share max, and this would only raise a maximum of £6.4 million or $8 million. Not enough to achieve what they want. They will do a raise later on, when the SP is up and it can be a meaningful raise in cash terms without so much of a dilution of shares. This is house keeping to have the option when it is needed in the future for much bigger gains.

We will be looking at JV or loan guarantees with beneficial terms, or both.

We are close to a real humdinger of an RNS and AGM.
