I will learn after 12 noon how many of my requested 2.5 million shares I will get on the raise. That should give an idea about how well that was supported or not.

Having run a few businesses I am spellbound by how MATD is operating at board level in a difficult country when they appear to hold some good cards but for whatever reason, they can't seem to play them yet!

That was not the point of what MB was trying to do here.

I bought 2.5 million on the open market and 2.5 million on the retail raise. Both at almost exactly the same price.

The market instantly discounted the sp to the offer price, showing MB that people are not impressed here, and showing him how poorly in esteem people hold the Board and MB.

The next test is what the sp does from here.

Downwards from here, the faith has been shattered and heads will need to role.

A fascinating set of events with very poor results that can only be reversed by some pretty spectacular results from H2, Gobi, Gazelle and Sunsteppe all with a great JV thrown in for good measure along with the VAT issue confirmed as not applicable for crude sales and the new second block being formerly awarded!

There is the RNS and within it, the proof that the support for MATD, the board and MB is on thin ice!

As stated before - H2 was reported to us as being a potential water input well to create pressure into the basin and drive a greater release of oil from H1 and any others that may be drilled.

Now it is back as being a prospect to become an oil producing well.

Lots of buys showing now. There will be a shake out for the next few days but I think this will steady up and gently start a slow recovery to somewhere around the 1p mark - to be accelerated beyond by good news, should any land! IMO!

But the thought is that the company is very low in value. There are a number of JV partners circling - one is told by MB(?? Granted!). Good news will break either with JV or with Sunsteppe or with stimulation (If this does actually happen!). MB and Petrovis have increased their investment strongly.

The slim human hasn't sung yet...! This race isn't over and the plot thickens in this marathon of an opera....!

My stake will be not far off 1% of MATD after the raise. Lets see!

Make the raise. Show the JV candidates that the shareholders have the will to do this and the company is well supported. Therefore, ...."step up and enter the deal for a JV or go away - and if you enter the deal, do it at a proper and decent rate!" kind of thing.

I too would find it hard to believe they will test all three wells - but you never know quite what the game is here! Hopefully one day it will come clear.

MATD value at £11.8 million. After raise this would increase to circa £15 million.

Still looks mighty cheap to me. I am increasing my holding both today in purchase of 2.5 million more shares and a request for the same again at the raise price.
