Sadly not re Farsi. I am only putting my read on the reporting on the news and my encounter and discussion with a lovely Iranian lady who checked me in for a car rental agreement in Madrid. She was waiting for the regime to be overthrown soonish and hoping to return to her country. I stated that Iran was on my bucket list to visit and that I sincerely hoped it would be possible in my lifetime.

We will see how it turns out. If the current regime remains in place, they will bomb a US target, the US will ride alongside Israel and penetrate the underground nuclear facilities. The campaign will last longer and the oil infrastructure will be hugely and heavily damaged. This will also probably spill out of Iran. This could send oil way above the $100 per barrel if this goes on down the existing path.

This is all conjecture and only my opinion at this time. We will have to wait and see.

I am not sure it does strengthen the regime, TBT. The ongoing protests within Iran over the last few years against the hard and brutal regime for the liberalisation of women's rights with calls for a more relaxed western based society are well documented.

We will see if the people turn against their leaders and call for change whilst also, and without doubt, wanting to stop this attack and save their nation.

IF the Iranian regime turns more extreme and hits a US asset of any form, then the Donald will throw the US might behind Israel to get the nuclear threat totally dismantled. How much of this will include the spill over into oil infrastructure remains to be seen. But they are definitely hitting that already.

Will this destabilise the current regime and cause the uprising quickly from within Iran? I believe it could. The Iranian people are sick of and ready to take down the current structure and go west!

I think the magic number will be between $90 to $100 per barrel, or thereabouts, snd with more destabilising of the worlds oil supply due to continued escalations still happening, for investors to pile into MATD.

As thought, gas fields and oil infrastructure in Iran being hit and dismantled by Israel.

Next week will be fascinating to see where oil prices go.

Firstly and as stated, this is in my opinion.

I think/believe that if Iran respond against Israel, then Isrsrl will start dismantling strategic economic infrastructure which I think would include refineries- to hurt Iran.

Just my thoughts. We will see.

Once a few oil refineries are knocked out then we will see where this goes.

US reportedly evacuating none essential Iraqi Embassy staff due to concerns of a collapse of the Iran US deal.

Moves are being made. Gaza operation is almost completed. Iran looks to be next in the sights of the US!!

Crude prices gently edging up and could soon accelerate beyond the $70 and even $80 and possibly $90 per barrel if they go for Irans infrastructure. They won't just go for the nuclear processing sites either - IMO.

In addition, regarding the sand screen question, if it was not needed under 250 bpd, then with the last RNS stating the rate had settled at 160 bpd, then one would have to deduce that the need for a sandscreen had passed.

Master - I am not surprised at all.

After the AGM - and as stated before - it was clear that the development of Heron and Block XX was not going to happen without a JV or a sales.

MB and his colleague stated they would investigate and stimulate at best the H2, Gobi and Gazelle. There are no plans to expand the company activities.

They have battoned down the hatches and switched half of the lights off. I feel they are in survival / sale mode right now where I believe they are saving all money and resolving such issues as income through the sale of the crude.

I would like to hope and quietly expect that they see no point of spending company resources on something that has a lot of interest and that will not give an immediate return.

The company is not able to be a producer in its own right. We await to see if they will manage a JV or simply a total sale of Heron and probably Block XX.

We will have to sit it out - whilst the boat drifts in the becalmed waters without a clear direction.

Unless there is a big rabbit to pull out of somewhere - it is difficult to see what options he has.

A rabbit is a JV or a sale of Block XX.

Other options seem to come with a cost and they are starting to run out of options. Pressure is hugely on MB now.

Does this effect the stability of the government departments, how they operate and the ability to get answers for such simple questions as taxes on raw crude oil sold internally??

The fall on Friday was 90% down to the very poor presentation of the RNS.

The fundamentals are still there. The timings and potential bumps re H2 being potentially used for pressurising the Heron field rather than producing and that H1 is only producing 160 bpd at this time are what are in question, along with other pending points.

We will wait and see where this goes from here, but I am expecting MB to issue another RNS soon after the sobering realisation has sunk in that his clumsy release on Friday cost 32% of the company value at one stage - effectively costing the share holders £10 million!

One hopes that he is suitably shocked and embarrassed by this result!

That is a very fare question, Wigster.

Like many, i find this RNS extremely poor. I agree that the fundamentals are pretty much the same today as they were yesterday. My hopes, expectations and understandings are not! There are only alarm bells ringing for the potential lack of funds, lack of increased flow rates in H1, seemingly lack of production potential from H2. No news about Sunsteppe. No clarity on progress for a JV partner Etc Etc Etc! Everything we all know and feel.

I can not see or read the logic here at all. Beyond my personal holding, we have more. It may be time to try to engage with MB directly to settle my sense of investment here. We are invested in the long term and the huge potential. But the risk to reward ratio has shifted on today's RNS, which could be down to wording.

I would strongly suggest to MB that they get a much better pr, news and social media system in place to spread the word positively about the company.
