What I wrote is my sense and thoughts regarding the statement in the RNS about the looking for JV partners still ongoing. Perhaps this is tinged with my frustration due to a poor RNS, granted, where I am left very underwhelmed and questioning the lack of progress on any notable front.

Regardless, my comment is not a statement of fact. Just another reaction to a poorly worded RNS by MATD, without care or thought, leaving the investors second guessing what is really going on here. A simple addition of the words to the statement about the pursuit for a JV is ongoing "and going well", would allay ones concerns.

My understanding regarding H2 is that they are looking to use this as an inlet to the oil reserve in Heron and to inject water down this well to build pressure in the reserve which helps to extract more oil from other sunken wells. At present this is only H1!

They are still looking for a JV! It doesn't sound as though potential partners are banging at the door to me.

Really not good from MB. The company is starting to sound as though it is on trouble!

All of this coupled with the price of Brent Crude down at $63 per barrel.

But.....the sale is within Mongolia from one producer to the other. It is PC who are exporting it. If there is duty or vat on the internal sale, without the capacity for a duty free sale - under bond, then MATD needs to be the exporter and just pay a service fee for transport and storage to PC.

A mess though.

Poor RNS with lacklustre developments IMO.

Tax advice if the opinion no charges due supported by precedence. PC being too pedantic about this?? It reads as if PC are the ones raising this potential issue that no one else can see!

Nothing much happening on H2, Gobi or Gazelle. All dormant due to no money, probably.

Block VII interesting for the existing test drill site not reaching the depth to extract oil.

H1 slowed to 160 bpd as regular pumped production rate, disappointing but probably realistic.

Nothing about Sunsteppe to give a brighter RNS.

SP will dip on this RNS - again poor PR and reporting qualities shown!

With sells just in at 2.36p + the buy price must be at 2.43p.

I agree Doc. As the price goes higher this may well feed MB's imagination to do a raise. This would be averted if he drops the news about the sale of Heron or Blaock XX.

Perhaps MB is stuck in the headlights with too much going on and real progress for MATD, that he doesn't know where to start for an RNS!

I can't wait to see it when it does surface!

I have enjoyed the madness of the last 6 months or so. Time to see how much meat MB can put on the table. I think it will surprise many of us at how far reaching and how much value there is here!

We are ging to have to wait and see what the JV or sale details are.

Personally, I think they are looking to sell Heron or indeed the whole of Block XX. That is why the focus this year is only on H1 production rate, stimulating H2, Gobi and Gazelle - all of which we found disappointing - in order to prove some worth to the fields as a whole.

MB has battoned down the hatches and switched half of the lights out.....!!

I can also see that the awarding of the second block next to VII MAY BE (Pure conjecture!) dependent on having sufficient funds and a solid development plan for these new blocks and MB may have seen the only realistic way to develop that fully is to sell Heron / Block XX.

As stated before - his hands are tied. The sp is too low to raise any meaningful funds through a raise. If the sp was say 5p per share - I would feel reasonably sure that MB may have done a raise and continued to shoot bullets at everything!

All wonderfully fascinating to see and watch this play out. I have gone heavily into this stock because whichever way it goes - there seems to be a huge upside IMO! We will see.

The stark difference between MB's last raises and his current position is that they have NO plans for drilling or expensive prospecting.

Assuming he is true to his word on that front - then we shouldn't need a raise for oil at all at this stage.

HOWEVER - and as mentioned before - IF SUNSTEPPE requires some cash for the development of one of the worlds largest renewable energy fields to be built within a partnership with the Chinese and perhaps with Japanese and Middle East investment funding, then that is the only "surprise" that could trigger a raise - if this is needed at all. I would be happy to support that raise as this would hugely grow the value and earnings of the company.

But at this stage - we shouldn't need a raise, IMO.

Well BP..........it actually says "payment"!

Granted the first statement in the RNS states it the payment will be "processed for payment during the month of May." in regards to the 5 months of crude oil sale. Whilst it is being "Processed" it is also stating it is being "Processed" for PAYMENT in the month of May!

However - the second mention in relation to the mechanism for the monthly payment schedule from what has been pumped and invoiced in any calendar month states the invoice must be submitted "...on or before the tenth day of the subsequent month and payment will be made during the last week of the month based on the average benchmarked price of Daqing crude oil".

I have suggested that I believe that the payments of all invoices submitted will all be bundled together at the end of the month - meaning that I believe it will be paid at the end of the month (May) along with the payment of the April oil revenues.

I don't feel I have misled anybody by my post. I am happy with it.

I repeat - I am expecting a good RNS this week confirming this payment has been made to (and received by) MATD, along with other operational information including, with luck, the upgraded production rates of H1.

No promises - we will see. But I would be very surprised if this wasn't happening within the next four days.

As stated before, as clearly reported in the last RNS about the signed contract with PC, the 5 months of crude from November to March inclusive, will be paid in May.

Then the RNS states that each month will be invoiced at the beginning of the following month, with payment being made in the last week of that following month.

Therefore, payment for April crude oil looks as though this will be paid later this week. As stated before, I suspect that the 5 months of crude also being paid in May is being bundled with the April payment due this week.

Hence my strong sense of a good RNS this week confirming the payment into the MATD account and hopefully an operational update with some positive news and hopefully stating an increase in H1 volumes as well.

I strongly believe that there WILL BE an RNS later this week.

Even if it is just a little operational update along with confirmation that the money has been paid to MATD by PC.

Whether the details about H1 increased production can be included yet or any other exciting pending pieces of development like a JV or sale of Heron field or even Block XX, Sunsteppe contracts, the other new block expected to be awarded to MATD next to Block VII, stimulation of H2, Gazelle and Gobi, or any one of these wells remains to be seen!

We are drifting into the time when a flood of important updates in RNS's will be announced. Let's us hope they are all or mostly very positive and good news for MATD and the sp. I believe we will all quietly be thrilled with the news and sp rally going forward from here.

It strikes me that the stated SP depends on whether the last reported sp deal was a buy or a sell which reflects on the finished stated price on Google.

Regardless, we have seen 2p and 1.85p give or take, in the last week. The needle is pretty stable and steady. I am happy with that.
