You are right, Profit. But the problem is that Matad do not have such cash. It could be done by Petrovis but I suspect that they unable to do it either. Because with the corrupt government officials, as it looks most likely now, Petrovis is paying its own ransom and hardly have additional money for that payment. And Mike, who didn't have even a clue all this about and therefore endlessly chatted about an incredible support by government to the company suddenly has found himself in shocking situation. Without any knowledge what to do or what to say to investors now and forced to keep long lasting silence. I am quite old and with some experiences too, Simon. Moreover I have done not only my own thorough and detailed research but take advise from Russian friends of mine who are professional oilers. Two of them even invested in PM and were very surprised as me by such an unbelievably ugly situation. When actually oil is found and all of us instead of being the winners turns out to be losers. One of them even has called this situation as oil highjacking attempt by Mongolian either local or central government from own company. Or simply some kind of corruption is going there which is far away from Mongolian economic national interests. Otherwise hard to imagine that there are such idiots in the Government who are completely out of understanding what it mean to make their own single and probably one of the best and prospective oil company in countryto completely idle during the whole year.

simonpartridge1, totally agree with you. Never thought that PM, like some women, can suddenly turn from very attractive to the most disgusting. And from which you can't even run away now and must wait hoping to escape at the very first opportunity. Unless if there is some kind of miracle suddenly happens of course turning this ugly creature into the same beauty. But this time not as a woman but that giant oil field which Mike tirelessly chatted about at all his meetings and presentations but so far nothing has happened.

Between reality and what Mike Buck has inspiredly told us in all of presentations since his very first day as CEO and what a great support the company is receiving from the Mongolian state. Indeed, "support is so great" that the company and its investors find themselves in complete **** for a whole year and loosing a lot of money. Isn't it looks like this management either just incompetence or has deliberately misleaded investors? I don’t know why, but I didn’t expect at all that Mike would so ineptly assess the real situation in the country in which he found himself as CEO. What is this selffraud or wishfull thinking? In any way what I realy want now its the end of this ugly license story. In which I am very strangly has found myself second time. First one connected with BEM from which I managed to escape 5 years ago (which is in wait a licens 7 years and still waiting). But now I stuck with PM and no escape without big losses. And very strange irony is that both companies have achieved great success in exploration of minerals reserves they were looking for, but the problem arose precisely with the exploitation. And how can I not say that all this practice of investing in AIM is either turning into some kind of farce, or it was a farce but for some reason I had no idea about it.

Yes, complitely agree and that is so obvious! You have to go for your most likely success first and act based on the principle of least risk. And only very gifted geophysicists can take great risks with almost complete confidence in success. I personally thought that Mike really one of those truly gifted taking bigger risks, but he is either not a such or very unlucky. Let's hope that he can still confirm his reputation as a good geophysicist.

As for the Stock Exchange and especially the AIM, all the time there are such scams that sometimes are simply incomprehensible to the mind. That is why more than 80%, and even the smartest among them, as a rule loosing money. Basically the winners are those who invest with the lowest risk in one or two dozen well-known and stable companies and for the sake of dividends only. And only a few who are just accidentally lucky.

Hi, you are right as always my friend and the party is simply postponed. It will definetley take place if only Mike turns out to be the man as he introduced himself at our very first meeting and begins fulfil his promises rigorously. I hope that at the end of the next year this happy day and its celebration will come true. Confirming that our belive and decision to invest in Matad were absolutely right and allowed transform it into one of the major players on global oil and gas market.
If it was not for this major goal I would never have invested in Matad even a penny and this is why I am still in. Hopping that despite of such unexpected difficulties and so huge disappointments our goal however will be achieved.

No, Ojay you are wrong thinking that "you'll need to believe in PM or leave it" Except believe, there is a set of important rules which any management must follow and you as investor have to be ready to act if they violate them. Otherwise they will do with your money what they want. This is why today so many crooks amongst all of the BODes on AIM listed companies who are often just stealing investor's money. I don't want to say that PM's BOD or Mike are going to steal our money. But I do not exclude that they might do it if there is no proper control and scrutiny what exactly they are doing for certain period of time and what they have achieved.

In accordance with the laws of nature, all persistent insects should hum tirelessly and try to bite until they are swatted. It would be weird if they were doing something else instead of buzzing and bitting.

It is really time for this BOD as well for Mike himself to show some kind of respect and accountability in front of us. And treat not just that we are some kind of unknown shareholder but long term investors and co-owners of the company.
