Anything less than £3 will simply not be acceptable to the main shareholders here
If anyone attempted to build or replace these SPI hospitals and property assets today the cost would be well over £2 billion net of debt or £5 per share
And given the usual huge cost increases of any government / NHS projects, that figure can probably be increased to £3 billion or £7.50 per share
The population of the UK is constantly increasing, and so healthcare costs will constantly be increasing, and so the demand for these SPI assets will constantly be increasing
Even if there is no takeover in the next few days, eventually another bidder or PE or the government / NHS will buy these shares for their true value
