Price attack just started... Been selling off this morning. I wish I'd sold more...

I agree. Last year THG submitted their Q4 update on 7th December. Long term hold for me.

I'm wondering though if the shorts have finished with us yet in the short term
Over the last 4 days there were:
- over 20m shares traded under 189p
- over 18m shares traded under 186p
- about 7m shares traded under 178.5p

We've only had 7m shares since trade above 189p so still a lot of scope for selling pressure to push out retail traders who helped buy out the shorts who were closing positions last week. Those II's will want their profits back.

So I think we could see some more negative price action from the algo bots, especially if we don't see a director buy RNS tonight or tomorrow morning.

Surprisingly quiet today on this board.

I expect there are some shorts hoping to take advantage today of the 22m shares traded below this price last week.
But there's probably also the expectation that there could be an RNS any moment highlighting director buys at those low prices from last week which should spike the price.
Zilla sold 238k shares in August at 587p. But has only bought back 69,765 shares since at 408p, 200.20p, and 196.20p. Based on the previous buy prices, I would be extremely surprised if she didn't buy late last week around 180, so we should be seeing an RNS any moment if that's the case.

Probably, but I'm thinking more about next week and next month.
The THG Directors are very financially astute. I think they will have bought this week to hit the low prices. Then we see an RNS to be published later today/early next week..
Then a Q4 update around 2nd week of December.
Then an announcement of the new exec.

Zillah sold 237,780 @ 587p in August.
She only bought back about 55k at 195/200 this month.
Imagine Monday's trading if we get an RNS showing more insider buying this week. Why wouldn't she buy at this level...

Now this will be interesting. Sell limits likely just hit at 190. Big volumes just went though. Fingers crossed for continued uptrend. That will be very revealing.

I messed up yesterday.
I thought this morning would be down with an uptick towards the end of today until I saw the 2m buy late afternoon yesterday.
sold 46,000 @ 178.589 yesterday morning
bought back 45,000 @ 180.992 (inc duty and tax) last night and this morning.

Day trading a long position has it's moments!

The likelihood of it going private is very remote. THG have clear plans which they have already provided major investors.
This is all about major institutions using AI Bots to buy back shares from retail investors.
Within a couple of weeks there should be a Q4 trading forecast update with positive news.

Agreed. Remember October 18th over the weekend when they announced Special Share offer. +20% in a day. Also the day after PUT expired the previous Friday.
