Sad to hear it Valueplay. You may be right, but I feel patience is needed and this is the time to be loading up in times of fear.
Last year THG gave a Trading Update on Monday 7th December to report on Black Friday, Cyber Monday sales etc, so we could see an update again on Monday, and personally I'm thinking it will spark the major rises many of us here are hoping for and expecting as planned long term investors. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce the new Chairman on Monday. Clearly its just a hope, but you never know.
There may be other investors who could be squeezed out as you have been so you may be able to buy back lower, and if you can, all the best to you, but it's too risky a strategy for me. Too many times I've been squeezed out and wished I held on just another week. I was squeezed out of FUTR about a week ago. It jumped 16% today...

Does anyone else here use TradingView? I'm seeing very strange information in the "Watchlist and details" section showing company shareprice, financials, range etc.
It's giving THG a market cap of 224.442B, and showing in the income statement section a 2020 net income of -53.26B and revenue of 161.36B !!!
Clearly the info is garbage. Anyone else seeing the same?

As soon as I see a stock being shorted on this site, I know a stock is going to be a struggle.
Frankly I don't understand why we've seen such a large drop here today following good news of a small increase in investments to measure methane leaks. OK, gas and other non-hedge futures are down today, but with Gas now being in line with the price it was on September 23rd, there's no real reason apart from FUD for DEC to be down about 12% over the same period.

I'm rot really surprised to see a red day today considering Friday's drama and growth, and the news over the weekend that Omnicron is although possibly more contagious, it is also possibly less dangerous once caught based on initial information coming from doctors in SA.

I wouldn't really be surprised if the THG price drops slightly to maybe 182p/180p in the short term tomorrow, with hopefully a recovery back to 190p by COP tomorrow/Wednesday. I'm guessing this based on the volumes traded and likely high number of new buyers that likely entered the market on Friday around 180p/182p, so they will need to be shaken down by the algo bots.

My strategy is to just holding through now.

I just keep reminding myself of the 12m shares bought by Sofina Capital last week around 178/182p (RNS 23rd November), and the other good news highlighted by Joner today about Jupiter Chrysalis re-iteration that they expect significant upside on the THG share price, and they basically still see the value of the business around 500p/share as not much actually has changed since the IPO case was made (as stated in their RNS today).

lol OxfordBull if you want some flat earth conspiracy concerns, have a think about why SpaceX & Nasa launched yesterday a rocket to "see if they can nudge an asteroid off course as a practise run in case an asteroid is ever found to be on course for earth", even though it's not due to get "near" until mid 2022.
I've seen the movies. They always say there's nothing to worry about until its too late to avoid panic!!

Look at the FTSE100 2 hour charts from dead on midnight. Clearly a co-ordinated attack with the media on board, doctors ready to go with interviews on speculation but with no actual data. Traders expecting light days with the US on holiday.

I also love how Bloomberg Live on YouTube just keep repeating that "today is very much a risk-off day", and I'm sitting here looking at THG in the green. Who would have thought that THG would be a "risk-on" share in the last few weeks. Love it! lol

On Bloomberg they had the SA chief Medical Doctor on saying they think it accounts for about 90% of cases CURRENTLY. So it's already out there to a large degree. I get maybe there will be an increase in cases and deaths to come, but the overblown response to very limited data seem very suspect to me. We've seen the same thing before.

THG loosely following the FTSE100 charts currently also. FTSE goes up, THG goes up.

Wikipedia says the murder rate in South Africa is 57 per day ffs. We never closed down flights for that...

Just checked the google data on South Africa Covid Deaths vs Infections. The news is reporting that 90% of cases in SA are now this new variant. However the death rate continues to be much much lower than previous times.
I'm convinced this is a co-ordinated market fud attack, co-ordinated over thanksgiving and today as yesterday was a holiday and today is a half day for US trading with fewer traders and managers actually working today.
