The mcap will only increase if SP goes up.
SP will rise or fall on investor sentiment (good or bad).
The mcap is not an indicator of a company's financial health, cash in bank, assets, or prospects etc..... a company can have a £billion mcap with virtually no tangible assets especially in the service industries.
Don't get too fixated on the mcap... I would be more concerned about how the £300m fundraise will be financed ( will it be equity placing, loans or bonds !!)

The 1:19 is the rights issue only..... we have no idea what the eventual price will be!
The main 'dilution' will come in the form of the 'placing' with Institutional Investors.
All this keeps the FCA happy as Shareholders are diluted significantly....
But remember, although we will have a smaller slice... it will be of a much larger cake.!
There are always risks in investing.... if you are risk averse stick to Premium Bonds !!

it is one way of diluting existing shareholders which is one of the things that the FCA were adamant about....
but remember, we may have a smaller slice, but it will be of a much larger cake !!!
The RI will also dilute...

Only the Doom & Gloom merchants are forecasting an immediate RI as part of their scare tactics!!!
Customers have until November I believe to put in a claim for compo... after that Amgo will then have a better idea of what they need to raise for the redress & new business... therefore I would expect RI (& a placing) in 8-12 months !!
