Uncanny Agreed, But may I add something, roi witnesses are not reliable witnesses as most of them are being investigated for corruption so the tribunal shouldn't have taken their views at face value. With regards to finding of corruption between ridlatama and insider, this is the shocking part of the verdict. The two parties they are pointing the finger at have been cleared by the police. Without those corruption files and police report roi should never have won case. Chl were not stupid to invest $70m on a forged license.

OnedayRodney I think the board are fully aware of all these points and they are on tune, they have a plan in place ie revision or/ and annulment application which is good, yes in theory this is straight forward case to appeal but we know such is the way of life it isn't. We have been robbed and have to stay positive. Like you i too believe the odds of winning are much smaller now as I don't trust the system. what we have to realise is that the tribunal deemed Ridlatama and Insider(Mr Putra) were involved in the fraud on a balance of probability, even though the police questioned both ridlatama and Putra under caution and cleared them. The tribunal cannot play judge and jury, especially since Roi successfully swayed the tribunal in their favour by only supplying docs that benefitted their case. Tribunal did not make any adverse inference from the fact Roi failed to provide important docs which they themselves conceded were prima facie relevant. You can assume CHL will definately make their own version of events and tribunal will have to consider this on the balance of probability also, the important facts Mr Noor beomes Regent of Kalimanton Early 2009 He validates chl licenses and upgrades them to exploitation He unlawfully removes chl licenses due to forestry breaches not forgery!! Around the same period Noor all of sudden has his own private jet Prabowo ie Nusantara is one of his best friends Licenses worth billions are given to Nusantara Im assuming CHL would find out how much a private jet costs, how he paid for it, how much he paid for it and where the money came from. Noor was pretty much unknown and came from humble background On balance of probability this assets which is worth billions, One can speculate that Noor has taken a huge bribe from Nusantara for the licenses. The tribunal cannot ignore this! And with him not attending the tribunal, they should slate him especially since the tribunal were really harsh on Mazak even though roi didnt request for him to come. Don't forget Isran Noor in all this, he joins as regent in 2009 and all of a sudden he takes away chl licenses and then has a private jet. He is a close friend of Prabowo and Prabowo is Nusantaras large shareholder. I didn't see any of this in the report. Its prima facie relevant... Mr Ishak who was the regent prior to this cannot understand how all of a sudden Noors got a jet. I think he is jealous because he missed out on the desert.. :-)

Welcome to the lse board, I see this is your first post on this forum, and you post on a suspended stock. This decision was bad, it's my opinion, yours differs... If this judgement remains on the statute book, one can speculate it will destroy ICSID. They are pointing at a insider that was involved in this fraud, that insider is called Putra. The tribunal states the licenses were not registered proper, they say Putra went to registrar to register the licenses when she asked for originals he stated he would give them afterwards. She registered the licenses, what a farce.. Then they say Mr Noor passed exploration docs to Putra to upgrade them, again they claiming fraud and corruption. Putra in the past had been arrested and questioned under caution. He has been cleared by the police and had his passports returned free to travel. So it begs the question how can tribunal come to this verdict when the state police which has much more resources failed to charge him. It's a complete farce .. Roi brought this case to icsid the onus was on them to prove prima facie case not for chl. There is a very good chance this can get annulled.

Focados has finally opened so we should be getting some production rates very soon. OML 40 they claim will produce over 10000 bopd. Fantastic buy at this price..

The shell director informed the nigerian president the forcados terminal was opened on tueday, news is imminent this company will be producing decent amounts for a small cap. Not to mention they have over £16m in bank also.
