lejjb - Isa trades don't show as cancelled and are two trades with a slight reduction in the number of shares, due to transaction fees and the spread. These trades are for the same number of shares day after day, in volumes of whole millions, adding up to 10m shares. Mm's are hardly going to make mistakes for different amounts, but with the totals adding up to 10m shares every time. The trades have caused the price to drop and the initial sells are reported in real time and not as delayed trades. Laks - I understand that trades are cancelled from time to time, but not day after day and all for the same totals of 10m shares, but made up of 4 or 5 trades.

Have an explanation for the �46k of sells going through in 4 or 5 large trades of FRR, only for them to be cancelled the next day or two days later. Without these large sells and some days even with them, there are more buys than sells, by volume and many more ( 2 to 1), by trade numbers.

Laks - Salah's most impressive statistic is the goals per shot ratio of 46%. I remember when Henry was European Player of the Year and the Daily Mail did a comparison using that statistic. Shearer came top as he was not getting the same amount of chances by playing in a poorer team. If my memory is correct, Shearer'ratio was 29.7%, Van Nistelroy about 23%, Owen 21% and Henry 19%.

Laks - Ok here. I didn't have to trawl through all the drivel, just clocked it in the 'Latest Share Chat' (bottom left) and looked in briefly.

Laks - There's nothing like a bit of light reading to cheer up a dull day. I've just had a look at the FARN bb and apparently the placebo was given out wrongly and the share is heading for �8. Perhaps they are going to market the way of giving out the placebo wrongly, so that it can be used on other failed drugs as well.

Montecristo - There are only 1.7bn shares. Any shares in Canada or any other country are part of the 1.7bn. The shares traded on the TSX are also traded on LSE. As far as I understand the system, if a MM or broker in Canada sells more than usual, reducing their normal float, then they have to buy on the LSE to ensure that they have enough for a market. Alternatively, they alter the spread and price to encourage shareholders to sell and it goes to NT to buy, to discourage the buys, allowing them to replenish their stock. Similarly, large buy or sell orders can have an impact on the price and spread on LSE. This is why the price on LSE and TSX are often different, even when both exchanges are open. This can result in arbitrage when large volumes are being traded, where II's take advantage of discrepancies in price between two exchanges.

Mystique - LSE would only be able to report those shareholders who cross the reportable threshold of 3% for an individual and 5% for a company. I think it would infringe the data protection laws to report anyone else.

Montecristo - There's a total of 1.69625bn shares in issue and no way of knowing how many are in Canada or any other country for that matter. Just like we can buy shares in Canadian companies, they can buy shares traded on the LSE, and some will have bought long before they were traded on the TSX. The difference with SOLG now trading on the TSX will be lower brokers fees (shares bought directly in Canadian Dollars instead of Pounds, resulting in currency transaction fees), plus also a better price through greater liquidity.

Laks - It was the latter. I phoned them this morning, when I could access the mobile version on my phone, but not the desktop version on my laptop. They told me they were working on it and if I tried it while in conversation with LSE, it should be back working, which it was correct.

mattybohh235 - Thanks, finally managed to access. I wouldn't have needed all this if the desktop site had worked this morning. Does this mean that when my laptop is not working, due to LSE desktop not working and I go onto my mobile phone, that I still won't be able to access 'M'?

Laks - All I get is a message 'sorry must be three characters' or 'no results found', even tried spaces for the brackets.

How does one access the M board on the mobile version? It keeps asking for 3 letters.
