I agree with the call for an investor meeting . Although if things are in the thick of negotiations it may not be possible . I believe in keeping the board to their word . If they say end of January for signatures is a possibility then now it’s February we are entitled to know what’s the status. I don’t believe in accusing the board of feathering their nest and accusing them of fraud and acting in bad faith. That’s the difference between me and the inveterate whiners. I’m prepared to sell up if it’s not working. In fact I sold 800,000 a coupe to weeks ago against my will in order to pay a tax bill. I had hoped for a higher price but it is what it is. I don’t blame the BoD . I knew what I was getting myself into.

But let’s keep up whatever pressure we can on the board to keep us fully informed . The days of drifting are gone . The just win battle must be won . And soon.

Nothing to do with Peter’s often stated aim to have parallel trials with other companies on the go and not just do one at a time? He even said that he wanted to get another trial going along with MSC.

Well as I’ve said multiple times, he gave what he called a deadline with the understandable caveat of “if I can”. As it turns out he couldn’t . Ok. We get it . So let’s ask why couldn’t you ? Is there a new obstacle much like Cargill and their lack of a license ? Or is it just feet dragging and legals ? If we don’t ask then they won’t tell us because as far as I’m aware no one mentioned Cargill’s lack of a bunkering license and that’s a material fact that would have coloured anyone’s decision to invest over the last twelve months . So I want to know what’s going on as much as they can tell us without compromising the process. At the AGM he clearly communicated that the pathway to signatures was clear . Is it still clear ? Let’s keep up the pressure ? What is there to lose ? How long does it take to send a polite reasonable email about their assertions. ? Let’s all just do that. The collective action will remind more keenly them that we exist out here . Otherwise why bother even attending or watching the AGM if it’s just “what will be will be “?

I disagree. The company has to change how it operates its communications. Shareholder displeasure has to be communicated and I don’t mean whingeing . Just holding them to their own stated timeframes . It’s getting to the point where we all actually have a responsibility to do so . I would suggest everyone drops a line to IR to pose the question “what’s next with MSC?”

@TechyRob i think it’s fair to ask for a reason why it didn’t happen by now. They may not be able to answer but will you accept “near final form “ for another year because that was the only update we have had for the last twelve months

@semaphorRed it was Peter who called it a deadline . Not a personal aim nor a target but a deadline “if I can” . So taking the man at his word we are entitled to ask at this point :Self imposed deadline passed. Why couldn’t you meet it and does that reason mean that we are in for another year of waiting ? I’m positive about this share but I intend to push the board on delivering on their own assertions and I think everyone here should do the same . I’m not pushing them for what I want or fantasise is possible or bashing them to vent my own frustrations. I’m not setting myself up for failure . Peter did that and that’s fine. We know he has challenges to overcome and now all I want is an update as to what is happening next.

This is what wrote to IR:

Hi, in the AGM , regarding the MSC agreements , Peter said “my deadline is that I want it up and running by the end of January if I can”.

This is the last working day of January so my question is : what’s next ? Do we get an update on why he couldn’t get those agreements signed off ? All the shareholders want to avoid a situation where this drifts on and days turn into weeks then months and then we are at the 2026 AGM and the agreements are still in “final form awaiting signatures” .

I know his deadline was an aspiration and we don’t have leverage however he gave this “deadline” voluntarily with “quiet optimism “. Has that changed ? What is the current state of play ? Has a new obstacle appeared in the last two months ?

It’s at the 36” mark roughly . He says worlds to the effect of ‘everyone wants a dead line and my dead line is get the agreements signed by the end of January if I can’ I paraphrased but that’s what he said

That’s exactly my question . They mentioned at the AGM …after a year of delay which we all put down to legals etc. so why didn’t they know ? Was it sprung on them last January ?

@sn88 so the fact of Cargill not having a bunker permit for Antwerp. This was one of the causes for this long delay . Am I right ? This necessitated another agreement making the tripartite agreement into a Quadrapartite . Why wasn’t this known ? Why did it only become apparent after this RNS was issued . Was this a huge oversight ?

What else can we do ? He said end of January if he could with quiet optimism and he wouldn’t have said that unless things were pointing in that direction . So the question is not “deliver now!” But actually has there been some large previously unforeseen issue that scuppers that quiet optimism or are we still on track ? Waiting until the end of Q1 means that ⅓ of the year would have passed since the AGM . So I would urge everyone to drop a friendly but firm line to make sure that the must win battle lines haven’t changed

Personally I’m sending an email next week to IR to ask what the plan is for updating the shareholders on MSC . I dot expect an immediate reply with a blow by blow update but the message needs to be that drifting on in “near final form” cannot be the way this continues . I will say that I understand end of January wasn’t a deadline etc but where are we now is a relevant question .
