That is very true. It could be hard to sell, but in volume could be extremely damn hard to buy also.

I should correct what I said earlier. If it does 10 to 1, then has a valuation 10 times higher after new shares you are no better off. But if it 10 bags after this then you are 10 x better off.

Think I understand now, this is awaiting sign off for this Whitewash Resolution to pass, and shareholder approval on the 27th sept.

In the mean time its a cash shell with £2m in cash and NAV of 8.5p per share.

It probably does go without saying, but newmont are not here to make money from selling their shares. That's chicken feed for them, if they exited at say 40p. They are here to make money from producing gold. Period

Just as someone mentioned earlier that Newmont could sit on this for years, they really can't if you do some research they are needing new gold prospects to be developed just to maintain their production. Personally I still see 20p as a reasonable short term target. After this is wild AIM at its best!

To clarify, I believe they are already producing in Uruguay, but that mine is barely breaking even. Hence the drop to less than 2p. That is NOT the mine that Newmont have bought into. So it still leaves a funding question over Uruguay how to improve that.

A few things for newbies to consider. My understanding here is that they have drilled 10% of the area, and on this alone Newmont invested.

However, next drilling results take time, and we are likely looking at a couple of months.

This should be a marathon not a sprint, and imo this needs to close nearer 8p and finish next week on 12.

Will trade between 10 and 20p until drilling results imo. Anything below say 12p a safe buy. IMO

It does make you wonder what could happen here if someone else bought say 20% of the company as well. This company is so small anyone could easily swallow it up.

As I understand it the test flow is paying YA £250k a month, so as a minimum you could extrapolate a flow rate from this?
