Is that your summary then? We are all Dinosaurs, we understand this business in greater detail than you could ever imagine. It is you with your short profit driven outlook who will never get it. Let me give you an example when all the family silver has been sold such as land assets which I would imagine will not be too long. Full consolidation has been applied in whatever form that looks like. Where do they go then? When there is absolutely nothing left. When you have to profit in this way it is a complete recipe for disaster because it is not a focus on real growth and keeping the customers happy. If you cannot see that far in front of your nose then I am afraid it is you that is stuck in the past not us. And one thing which is potentially disastrous is biting the hand that feeds you namely the workforce. But I am sure all of this is completely wasted on you as you can only see as far as January and what you can bleed out of the Divi whilst we care about having a thriving workplace which customers respect.

@skodaman after all outgoings that is very good there are a lot of firms that would love that sort of profit. Yeah we do want chunk of the profit we deserve it. Now keep buying the shares please we will have you to thank for the cut in hours and pay rise, cheers we are very grateful. Oh and forget your share divi in January if we do go on strike you can kiss that goodbye. Perhaps your venom should be directed at other people rather than the workers. If our job is that easy then when a strike hits management will have no problem clearing the mail. @my2penneth I am puzzled how you think someone with 28 years does not care about RM? A very strange thing to say indeed. If the company can sell what is used as a car park for400 million pay shareholder dividends which are quite good and still return a profit of 700 million whilst allowing its CEO to moonlight to another role whist still getting paid by RMG and pay for the said persons flights back and forth to Canada, then it can afford a pay rise for its staff. And we will get one as well mark my words.

Digital platforms have been around for ages if businesses were going to use them they would have done already, you need to get real it is you who has your head in the sand not me. As for a strike ending up in people losing their job, that clearly shows me that you have no idea of the history of industrial action in our industry. You seem to think that there are wads of people wanting to work for RM you couldn't be more incorrect if you tried. the turnover of new entrants is hugetheylast a few days in some cases never to be seen again. The problem as you call it is that our industry has been turned into a casino game but it is our turn to throw the dice

@Keith 666 You clearly do not understand our campaign but chug on as much as you want to. 38 years service seen it all before heard it all before difference this time is that major shareholders will not have their profits eaten into because of a power struggle that will only go one way. Answer me this if say 80% of lets say 80,000 vote for industrial action what does that tell you? Then look at your post and my previous posts and tell me who understands what is going on me or you. RMG may have to please shareholders but RM employees do not that is a major blot in your thinking.
