A non-functioning government is a non-functioning government. It doesn't matter who is in power. If they are unable to govern, then they need to give the reigns of power to someone that can.
As it stands, we've had the last two PMs resign in disgrace, we have a Tory party in open civil war, we have numerous crisis' that are impacting every single facet of society.
If you believed in democracy, you would understand that a general election is not only the will of the people, it is also a moral imperative.
The clear fact is that you do not wish for one, not because you think it's not in the interest of the country, but because you know the Tories would get wiped out.
You are literally putting your party ahead of the interests of the country.
