Can someone also explain how gross profit was over £10m in August but only £100k in September?

I imagine that is the headline figure the market will be looking at this morning. There doesn't seem to be any explanation for it, or what the (missing) £10m was spent on in September.

I wonder why that info cannot be RNSed? It is obviously allowed to be put out there during this quiet period or else PW wouldn't have done the video.....

And also - does the September mining figure in the grid column have an error? It seems to be wrong by a factor of millions???

Yup - I appreciate the benefits of owning over renting. The point was more to do with the ability to get into a new space quick sharp and be mining by the end of the month rather than the middle of next year.

This bull run may be over by then with a long crypto winter ahead.

Although, as FPot mentioned, it's unlikely we'd have been able to get the machines to fill a new premises this month anyway.

Is there a reason why they decided to acquire land and build a new building rather than buying or leasing an existing building?

If they'd done the latter, it could already be full of machines churning out the Bitcoins.

I'm sure there are valid reasons and I'm sure PW and the team explored all options.

Was it discussed at the time?

Maybe there were no units that could offer the required power.

Main building completion should be Feb 2022. Not 2021 as I accidentally wrote.

One would hope that with a build out like this these timeframes ought to be relatively easy to stick to, even given the global supply issues. Let’s hope so.

I thought it looked bigger than I was expecting the first building to be. It’s going to be big! I assume they can and possibly will build more buildings in future. The rest of the site could be laid out as a solar farm, if that would be prudent?

I’m sure once the foundations and concrete floor is laid, the building itself will get built in no time.

It’s certainly excellent and reassuring progress following on from the first pictures of the site.

And for the record, the area to the bottom left of the main building plot, does resemble a motocross track. Haha.

That question needs it own new thread!! A lot of people will be thinking the same thing.

ARBK is supposed to be the same shares as ARB albeit at a 10x. So in theory one should mirror the movements of the other.

I think it may take a bit longer to settle down, but that’s certainly how it should be, meaning there no reason or point or benefit to sell UK shares and buy the US version.

The only think that will make a variation is the exchange rate fluctuations. But that shouldn’t responsible for a 4% difference.
