23% up in Frankfurt now. Moon day incoming.

Shipping from the USA (and all over the world) is a mess currently. I am not surprised at all that these barrels are delayed.

The company I work for has had 7 containers sat in America (Factory in Kentucky) waiting to be loaded onto a ship since April, and they're still not loaded. They should have already been delivered to us.

Air freight is probably not an option as it's currently off the scale price wise and is also taking ages to get a booking. Plus, as has been said, I'm sure there would be issues with flying three barrels of a hazardous bitumen product.

Patience is certainly what's needed with QFI, and has been so for early a decade now!

Just an FYI....

The "sell" at 08.02am this morning for 100,000 shares at 3.145p was in fact my buy. So oe can assume the other two sells were also buys.

The actual buy price has bee somewhat less than the indicated buy price for the last few days.

ow we need some good news to take us back to 6p and beyond.

In fact, I have wondered whether that chap I met in Cervinia, Italy, is on this board. Might be!

Like many on here, I have been invested in QFI for about 8 years, since meeting a fellow skier in an Italian ski resort who told me all about the company and its potential.

I bought in at 28p and have averaged down along the way and saw a small profit on a couple of occasions over the years, but it'd always sink back down again.
Then I decided to average down a lot by buying a big chunk at 1.5p, which was a huge punt given that we could have gone bust at any point.

So this last few weeks has seen me nicely up, and long may it continue.

I don't intend to sell any for a long way yet. Having kept the faith for this long, I think just rewards are on the way!

In order to achieve the car that my user name takes after, I'd need the price to get to £15. Hmmmmmm.

If he’s bought 1.6m shares, assuming he’s paid between 3 and 4p for them. So that’s around £500k he’s sunk into QFI. I’d expect he’ll be selling a good chunk if he can get 5.5-6p for them.
Would like to think he’d leave some in for the longer term if the prospects are still looking as rosey as they are.

Trouble is, most of his followers will sell as soon as he announces he’s sold some, even if it’s just a proportion of his holding.

Could just be him doing all the buying! ;-)

I think the hope is surrounding the discucssion around carbon in the industry and how to reduce it rather than the proposed tax itself. That’s just the tool the governments have to use to get the industry to listen and make change.

That is a flurry of buys!

I was thinking last night, if only we could get a mention in this new (most recent) discussion about carbon in shipping, we could get some government level interest in fast-tracking our fuel to commercialisation.

Anyone know Boris, or the environment secretary?

Turkey's actions, if they turn out to be enacted, might actually work the other way, with a "ban" making people want to own some BTC even more.

It's almost like the government is saying..."Please don't buy BTC as we don't like the direction it's going in, on an economic level." Which is one of the exact reasons that BTC exists in the first place.

So your worry and negativity could very well be dumbfounded, Pearls.
